- Part 2 of going to and from Florida to buy our new Tri Axle dump truck for the business. Working on the truck and prepping it for the drive home to Massachusetts, had to wait on plates to arrive for us to go!

When working under your truck, get an empty gallon plastic jug. Squeeze a little air out of it and put the cap back on. Instant pillow. You don’t have to hold your head up and it is softer than concrete.

I just used Leather Dye in my Kenworth Cab Over and went with Black, clean it really good then dye it. Came out good!

It's amazing the lengths one has to go through to find a truck that's worth a dam today. Modern diesels are total junk in my opinion thanks to a corrupt government that doesn't give a dam. I work for a government agency and speak from experience. Great video Steve keep them coming!

If you jack up each front wheel then grease the kingpins the grease will be better distributed around them--and dont forget to grease the throwout bearing,too.

I have to send the title and bill of sale back to my home state so my friend can go to the registry of motor vehicles and they will give him the number plates to send back to me and then I will be legally allowed to drive it on the road to go home . Thanks for watching

People subscribe to this channel; it is one of the best of the heavy equipment construction sites.
It is the "owner operator" real life world, with out the youtube funny money presenting a fake reality as the real world, this industry is cut throat with no profit margins - only wages for owner. Those construction sites that have all that new equipment showing up all the time, well that's the youtube money; not the money generated by the small business.

Yeah when I put new ones on . This are weak . I’m probably going to put some bigger ones on.
I don't think you "overpaid" for the value of having something so valuable to your business that you can customize mostly with cosmetics that seems to have been well taken care of.and that is now all yours to keep maintained even better and that you'll likely never sell again. I've never bought anything used that I really thought I got a steal on because both the seller and I knew it was well maintained and I still knocked off a chunk off his asking price because it was an unpolished diamond and he knew it, and I just couldn't walk away from it.
We might complain and look for reasons to feel wronged when we buy a home that's been lived in for 50 yrs and seem always overpriced but the new homes never lived in are poorly built and covered up in cheap modern materials that hide the carcass you want to see and work on.
You invested your time wisely, did your homework, and traveled great distances to get a gem, sir. Time to begin not feeling badly in any way about your purchase and bring her home and dress her up for some work and preening in a blue dress on the Cape roadways. 😀
Yes I totally agree with you . I’ve had it working for a couple weeks now and I love it . It drives great and is making money back on its own haul by the hour on our down days from our excavation projects . That’s a door that was not open before buy it so it’s an extra income. You know you should of just bought a milwaukee grease gun even if you have another one back home…
The Milwaukee with battery and charger is about $300. This one was $22. At ace hardware. I’ve been home for 3 weeks now and I haven’t needed the use of 2 Milwaukee grease guns yet. Thanks for watching
