    Im a very proud owner of an Amazing Estarli E28 Pro. Love the bike!!!
    I bought my Estarli E28 Pro 4 weeks ago from Allen’s E-bikes. 2 weeks later after 100km racked up, mid ride, I had an issue. The power was pulsing whilst on a full charge. I’d lost power assist. The guys asked me to bring the bike down to the shop which I did asap, mud & all. They promptly cleaned my bike down, diagnosed a sensor issue, got the bike to Estarli where they, with no qualms replaced the sensor. The issue was resolved & best of all, this was all done in less than 48hrs door to door, with no costs incurred. Amazing service. Im 400km in now. The bike is sooo good! 🙌

    Another plus one for not using standard blue/yellow can WD-40 on the chain. It's not a lubricant. It might make the chain stop squeaking for a short while but without an actual chain oil, it will be ineffective after maybe an hour of use again. (WD-40 as a brand make actual lubricants but just make sure it's not 'regular' WD-40

    • @TheAegisClaw

      It is a lubricant. I wish people would stop claiming it's not. From WD40's own website, verbatim "WD-40 Multi-Use Product protects metal from rust and corrosion, penetrates stuck parts, displaces moisture and lubricates almost anything."

    Love your reviews, thanks! Nothing quite like a good day in the saddle, exploring the world and feeling the better for it! It's amazing what a 2-4 mile ride twice a day can do for you. I wish the governments would spend more on bike lanes, bike safety and especially bike trails. Bike or eTunnels would be awesome for London, why not use some of them robots to make tons of bike tunnels. Just think of the health benefits and cost savings, not to mention lives saved! Lot's of cool things one could do in the future with them, like live wire pickups so travelers could charge while riding... Would also be nice to see bikes having little electronic broadcasting "chirpers" so smart cars can know they are nearby and drive smarter. Would be nice to require all vehicles carry AI co-piloting as well, aside from bike warning/avoidance, the car accident reduction rate would be worth it. Over 20k bike miles in 55+ years :-)

      Yes, but how many weigh only 16.5 kg or there abouts? And with a torque sensor? And some suspension? It's a very small niche, but we need more light weight competition.

    • @joetrapp9187
      @joetrapp9187 Před rokem +1

      @@Altema22 I can always buy a set of lights for cheap and use them on multiple bikes instead of integrated lights that I cannot switch to others or change out if it goes bad. I can't make a 65-pound bike 35 pounds, nor can I easily convert one from a cadence sensor to a torque sensor.
      Also, as far as safety goes, I would also want some suspension. A little pothole can knock you off your bike day or night.

    I too was going to put my penny's worth in about not using WD-40 as a lubricant but others have already said it. WD40 will lubricate for a short time but is also used as a degreaser so it'll start to have the opposite effect. Oil in the wet, PFTE based lubricant in the dry such as GT-85

    3:05 The WD in WD-40 stands for water distillation. It just makes the water evaporate and only lubricates for a short time. A regular oil should last longer and keep the bike from squeaking and rusting for longer periods of time. So I've heard.

    Question: I currently commute on a Boardman URB 8.9 which weighs in at 11kg in basic format...
    My question: The Estrali weighs in at 16.6 Kilos - around 12/13 pounds more... Is it easy to get this weight of Bike above the Electrically assisted Max of 15.5 MPH? My Average 13 mile work commute which is fairly flat with stops at lights etc averages 15 mph, so I'm really wondering If I can get that up, and the time down with this Bike which is very similar in style to the URB 8.9? Thanks.
    Background - I typically cruise along the flat on the Boardman at around 17 to 20mph - is this feasible on the Estrali?
