    Is there any benefit to having the foot loops so high? I feel it would be easier to extend them out a little and be less curled up? Obviously you need height to be able to get to the next point, but maybe not this amount? Am I missing some benefit to doing it like this?

      You've stated the obvious benefit; being able to stand up high enough without stretching your arms out over your head to move slings and climb. That said, everyone is going to be different, so try different things with your foot loops and find a good comfortable position for yourself.

    A lot easier with a short loop off your bottom D you look way too low with that grillon
