Glad to see you guys putting out videos again. And this one is one of the only doubled english reeve ones i've found! Excellent!

Great video! I've implemented this for training L3's. Last week's session went very well.

I'm visiting again... still a great video w/ great rigging principles exhibited. I love the fact that you utilized two rigging plates, because you're avoiding a single failure point. Around here, whenever I mention using two rigging plates together, they look at me like i have two d&@3ks...

Could you just do a video on the Petzl stretcher and how it can be used in rope access situations?

  • @xtremeaxisinspectionsresto5178

Nice rig … always makes me chuckle at the IRATA philosophy … two of everything except on the load where you can share one point … very curious

So the orange lines are on descenders both sides? Thanks for the video :)

  • @urbanropeaccessltd9179

Are the orange ropes going through id's? Would a micro traxion or similar work? as it's not a weight baring line and just there to pull the system left and right.

It might carry load in situations where the 2 anchoring points has difference in height, otherwise, a traxson will do, keep in mind that a traxon has 4kn swl.

Why don’t the traverse lines need to be doubled, If they fail would the carrier not move to the lowest point of the tensioned line

In a rescue situation. Angle below 150. Load split between 2 ropes. Whats the safe working load of the system?

Could you please explain the safe working load on the double tension line with the weight of 2 people at 150 degrees?
