Wish they'd just make a variable speed DeWalt 20v grinder. The random orbital action of this seems a bit sketchy for detail work, also unless you really feather the trigger it's still too fast for most dry pads 🤷🏻‍♂️

Dewalt makes a 20c rotary polisher (DCM849B) that isn't a random orbit action. It's variable speed also 800-2200 RPM. Probably better all around for tile.

Love the vids but i live in Albuquerque and most of my customers choose their own lower end tile, when you test out products can you use some lower end tiles to see how it will works on them too thanks

Makita the way to go with variable speed grinder. I didn't know dewalt has a 20 volt variable speed one. I getting one for sure

Thanks for another review, I always wanted this polisher mainly for my car. Personally I don’t really like the idea of polishing tiles with a DA polisher as it’s much slower. I do like polishing tiles with a grinder as it gets the job done much quicker. The polisher is definitely on my list tho!

Think the sideways battery is so automotive detailers don’t bump the paint with the battery.

Looks like it’s A dual action buffing machine. It looks like it would be too much action to get precise edge on some delicate material. But I get the point though. Could be good for some stuff I guess

Won’t be able to do inside radius corners. Wonder if there’s anything like a normal sjs but cordless

Another great vid! I consider myself a tool fanatic and had no idea about DeWalt having that? Makita has one as well...

standard polisher better than random orbital for tile. Milwaukke makes one and have varialnbe speed .

DA is horrible for polishing stone. Variable speed rotary is much better.
