I changed the distributor and that fixed my 1994 toyota celica ST 1.8 stalling issues

When you disconnect the connector of igniter you will see two different colored pins they go directly to the ECU check the wires connected to these pins.

I have the same problem with my celica 5gen with a 3sge engine which at some point stopped starting at all. I got code 14 on the diagnostics. I have a spark on the spark plugs but the injectors don't work. I unplugged the ECU, coil and ignitor and checked all the wires with a bulb for open and shorts and power to the coil and ignitor. It turned out that the cables are fine. Now my only suspects are the igniter or the ECU, in a week I will try another igniter and computer and write about the result.

the signal is going to the ground, somewhere along the path the cable must be stripped and it is making contact with the chassis, uncover the computer and examine the components in many cases it drips through the antenna and produces shorts, good luck

You could have a short in wiring from the ECM the icm

I have multiple ignition control modules and they dont help solve the issue. I have recently i have noticed that my spark is week when it starts to give me issues such as staling

Nope but i have an idea, i think it has to do with the cyl walls. Reason i mention that is because i removed the head and noticed they where a bit worned out. Also noticed the deck was a bit warped so this is at around 160 k on that motor

I'm having the same issue with my 3rd gen in my MR2. i replaced everything ignition except for distributor. It ran good for a few hundred miles and it came back. I'm at a stump, lmk if you find a fix for it.

no i got a whole 3rd gen body harness. I've replaced the coil twice and each time the car runs good for a few miles then the same issue and code comes back. idk if something is frying the coil or what.
