But you can call both a sandwich, because sandwich is a very general term which can be used to describe 2 pieces of bread with ingredients in the middle. What is a burger? 2 pieces of bread with ingredients in the middle. But, we use the term burger because they have a burger bun, rather than 2 slices of bread, so when you ask for a burger, you know what you're getting. And I'm going to be very controversial here. A hotdog is a sandwich.

You can still get the 3 wicked wings, you just need to ask them for a Zinger Box with wicked wings (or you could ask for a single original piece, I often like to get a breast or rib piece in mine). Mind you it was utterly dumb how they changed the default option to the boneless pieces and you have to explicitly asked for wings.
This caught me and my brother out one night where we only got two wicked wings instead of three, I noticed in the drive thru but he distracted me about the drinks and drove off before I could tell him about the missing wings. We decided to keep going instead of turning back, he rang the KFC about 15 minutes later to complain and they said we ordered boneless pieces because we didn't specify wings. We complained that was stupid and asked why we got wings instead of boneless, they argued we got boneless so we said we can send you a picture of the bones, that quickly shut her up and she said we could go back to get it fixed up but at that point we were long gone so she sent us a code for some free wings at a later date.

As someone living in Australia for long time and originally from Taiwan, It's always exciting to see creativity and variety in food options, Taiwan's KFC is really pushing the boundaries with their menu. Hopefully, we'll see more diverse and creative offerings here in Australia too - who knows, maybe KFC will take some inspiration and spice things up Down Under! Cheers to hoping for some exciting new flavors! 🌶🍗
In Taiwan KFC they have following varities:
Roasted Chicken: Imagine perfectly roasted chicken with that crispy skin and tender meat. It's a game-changer, seriously.
Portuguese Tarts: Yep, you read that right. KFC here serves up these delightful Portuguese tarts - flaky pastry filled with creamy custard. They're so indulgent!
Peanut Butter Cheese Fry Chicken: Sounds wild, right? But trust me, it works. Picture this: juicy chicken coated in a crunchy peanut butter and cheese crust. It's a flavor combo you didn't know you needed until now.
Roasted Chicken Burger: Forget the regular old burger - this one takes it up a notch. Juicy roasted chicken served up in a soft bun with all the fixings. It's a taste sensation, it comes in two main flaviour the original roasted or roasted with spicy coating.
Sweet Potato Chips: Move over, regular fries. KFC here offers sweet potato chips that are crispy on the outside and oh-so-fluffy on the inside. They're the perfect sidekick to any meal.
Each of these options brings something unique to the table, and the flavors are out of this world. It's got me thinking - why doesn't Australia's KFC offer more creative choices like these? With so much potential for deliciousness, it's time for KFC Down Under to step up their game and give us Aussies a taste of the extraordinary. Trust me, once you try these flavors, you'll be hooked!
And guess what? The deliciousness doesn't stop there! Taiwan's KFC even has a breakfast menu that'll make your mornings ten times better. Get ready for some serious breakfast envy:
Omelette Sandwich: Start your day right with a fluffy omelette sandwiched between two slices of soft bread. It's the perfect blend of savory and satisfying.
Oatmeal Meal: Need a wholesome breakfast option? Look no further than KFC's oatmeal meal. It's warm, comforting, and packed with goodness to fuel your day.
Hash Browns: Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside - KFC's hash browns are the ultimate breakfast sidekick. They're so addictive, you'll want to order extras.
Egg Wrap: Take your breakfast to-go with KFC's egg wrap. It's a delicious combination of scrambled eggs, cheese, and your choice of fillings, all wrapped up in a soft tortilla.
And of course, they still offer their famous fried chicken varieties for breakfast because, let's be honest, who wouldn't want to start their day with some finger-lickin' goodness?
I don't know about you, but just thinking about these breakfast options has me drooling. It's like KFC here has cracked the code for the perfect morning meal. Australia's KFC could definitely take a leaf out of their book and expand their breakfast menu to include some of these mouthwatering options.
Can't wait to hear your thoughts on these mouthwatering options. Let's hope Australia's KFC takes note and spices things up a bit!

Way back in the 1970s I worked at a Kentucky Fried Chicken. Everyone knew the best side was to mix the individual mashed potatoes and gravy with the coleslaw. I didn't like chicken until I worked there and discovered breast meat. For desserts we not only had the Little Bucket Parfaits but also homemade pies made by the owner's mother.
The mashed potatoes were just instant flakes. Also, we made the coleslaw in big tubs where we mixed the dressing with the slaw mix using hands and arms. The tubs were so deep we would be up to our elbows in slaw and dressing (literally).
Apparently, our location was so good that some bigwigs from corporate came to visit. This was before Yum Brands took over. We didn't have a drive-thru however, we could get people in and out in 2 minutes on $5 bucket nights. Mind you with 100% accuracy on the orders. I know this because our manager timed us one night.

I used to work for a competitor but left to go into the field I was completing a degree for. Went to KFC a lot more and didn't wait long. Only had one visit where my food was a bit cold but didn't have anything missing, no long waits and except for the one visit, everything was fresh. And this was at multiple locations so they have definitely figured out a better system here which ticks more of the boxes and in my opinion are doing better than the other 3 big fast food chains on all fronts.

My first Employer was KFC in the 80’s in Australia 🇦🇺 & we used to have whole Roasted Chickens with its very own special seasoning which were fazed out about the same time the Chicken Fillet Burgers entered the Australian market.

You can find ranch at some places in Australia. Subway has it now as a regular topping. It's not nearly as popular here of course but "anywhere for anything"?

It's technically also on the McCrispy burger at Maccas. First time I've had the sauce, don't recommend

It's just really expensive here in USA. I can't afford it, thankfully both of my grocery stores sell fried chicken in the deli (and rotisserie). If you show up at the correct time, the fried chicken is really good.

I love these! Excited for this one because I think I’m the US we have the most boring KFC, even though it’s from here.

I feel like letting people know that kfc prices in store are region specific in Australia and the prices are varied such as in Melbourne it costed less for a burger box which costed A$15 than in mount isa where it is A$25

Another one Australian KFC has is the Hot'n'Spicy Chicken same cuts as regular pieces, it has a crispy crunchy coating and has a dusting inner coating of spicy powder, this is readily available in QLD and NT outlets but only seems to be in winter in NSW and VIC if your luck for about 2 weeks.
Another Note Australian nuggets are more processed and similar McDonald's in this regard, not cut chicken pieces like the US ones
