I have to say a lot of the chicken sandwiches from the US side I have never tried because last time I was in the US was pre-chicken sandwich war with Popeyes, etc. It seems like they've stepped it up a bit last time I was there the only option was like a plain crispy chicken sandwich or the McChicken which is just garbage.

In China, you can ask the clerk to adjust the number of ice cubes in the soda drink, or ask for no ice, and it will be filled slightly.
French fries are still packed in paper bags, and only some special-flavored versions, such as V-shaped potato wedges, are packed in paper boxes.
Chicken McNuggets also have 4-pieces, BUT only for children set.

Gah, you make me homesick for China once again! I was a teacher in Phoenix City, just east of Guangzhou for 3 years, had a Macca's (what we call it in Australia) right downstairs from my apartment. I swear they knew I was coming every morning as they always had the coffee pot ready for me lol. And you forgot the extra cool stuff- they had a starfruit soda that was life changing, and a couple of limited items was seaweed shaker fries around May each year (sooo good!) & curly battered fries around November (but they only sold them in small size, freaking annoying when they were SO good!). Oh, and Taiwan Macca's has BAGELS for breakfast!!!

Breakfast is more similar to the US offerings except we do not have Mc Griddles & biscuits and but we have elbow macaroni in soup (one of the Hong Kong breakfast staples) and no congees (no one would go to Micky D's for Chinese style breakfast tbh). There's also an Mc Egg sandwich which was my favorite (basically a filet-o-fish sandwich replacing the fish for an round egg)
