Looks great. You can add solar powered motion lights for anyone coming in at night. I added one and it works great, especially in the winter. Great job for everyone involved

I have seen people who make under $30k a year build stuff just as nice as this for a lean-to for their riding mower because they took time for pulling wood in a dumpster out of a job site.
Time and dedication is what is needed. The YT channel just makes it easier to entertain us and give ideals.

Looks amazing! And it'll make a great bus stop for the kids when they get to school age (if they depart the homestead for school). Use the old stand near the pond or even up at the campsite for wood/getting out of the weather.

Absolutely awesome job Adam, on the back I would have"Firewood for sale" on the upper section and "Hometown Acres" in the bottom rail. The customers can see the prices when they stop. Sometimes I think you literally have to spell it out to customers that they are for sale otherwise some traffic approaching from the back side may think its just a very fancy homeowners log store. Your mums work is beautiful

Wow, that's the nicest looking firewood stand I've ever seen 🤯. I just hope somebody doesn't steal it 🪓. I would get a mesh banner made up for the back side saying firewood for sale. The type used to cover a load on your dump trailer. That way the wind can blow through it and you would be able to roll up for stocking purposes. Awesome job👍🏻👍🏻

Nice job :) As for the sign, i'd say leave the stand as it is, but do another small project and combine the hanging number sign with a double sided firewood sign, that way it will be seen in both directions.

Turned out Great! The fine details is best part. The freehand painting by mom is amazing. For the back side information I would keep the KISS rule there. Keep it simple and just put the prices. Let that logo on the side stand out. For she did such a great job on it

Well worth the effort and you can appreciate it for years to come. Put the old one in your camp lot and also maybe a solar light in the new stand to give it some ambient lighting at night. Great job by you and your mom.

Adam you need to get some clear lacquer and go over what your mom did. That would really protect it and set it off.

That's very professional looking. Depending on sales and how often you'll need to restock this stand maybe rebuild the old one. If sales/restocking aren't an issue then just burn it. Mon did a super job on the lettering.

Board up the backside and put a giant ass logo on it, with even bigger letters stating FIREWOOOOOD.
You have to take into account that cars zoom by at something like 30 mph and the distance from the road is pretty significant. Heck, most drivers can't even read normal road signs these days. Plus that side logo turned out really beautiful if I might say so.
But then again, it's a countryside honor stand, people tend to look out for those things. You only want the right kind of people to notice those stands:) I do miss those in the city, but luckily I can travel about 15 minutes out to find plenty of those if you know where to look. First time my wife saw them she was amazed as she grew up in the big city and I just went by and grabbed whatever I needed. But then again, I'm also the one carrying around cash all the time.
Hometown Mom's got some mad skills. Backside - I'd go with 'Firewood' on the top and 'Hometown Acres' across the bottom. But I'm probably too late, as this was posted 4 months ago. Either way, it looks great.
I'd put the prices on the back just like the front, then put HomeTown Acres Firewood up on the roof line........that's just me, lol. And your Mom, WOW, she's fantastic with the lettering!!!

Overdone? Whatever! As long as you like it and enjoyed building it....and enjoy the fruits of your labor as your customers use it....that's all that matters. If I was in the area, and needed firewood, and saw five other typical roadside stands.... I would still prefer to buy from your stand since the presentation is so much better.

I wish you wore PPE while making these videos. So many ppl are going to CZcams these days for "how-to" projects that it just makes sense to set a good example. Moving rounds and splitting firewood you should have hard sole, steel toe boots on and spraying stain really should be done with a respirator.

Great wood shed and your Mom has an amazing talent. My thought for the back side would be, 1 more board on the top, so you can have larger lettering for people to see from the road? The wood shed is an eye catcher for sure but, need to have the advertising on that side as well. Or, just a double sided sign in front of the wood shed?

The front bay is pretty deep. If sales warrant it, you coulld double the stand's capacity by adding a second row of compartments inside, in front of the current set, and then provide access to the existing row of compartments from the back side of the stand.

Hi Adam, for the back side put the price per bundle on the horizontal bars like you have for the front. On the top display the firewood for sale alongwith your logo. On the vertical bars mention firewood on one side and for sale on the other side so that people know its a stall selling firewood when they coming from the back. Loved the stand and your mom's painting.
The new stand us awesome! Now take the old one and if it's burnable stock the stand with it... it's the perfect life cycle.
The stand is incredible. I was thinking (as you were building it), that you were going to have at least 3 sides filled with firewood. At this point, I would suggest moving the wood under the roof forward, place a divider between front and back, and have a whole second set of bunks on the back. You would stock twice as much firewood and it wouldn't take away from the looks at all.
