Last year, the EU approved 12 sanction packages against Russia and the Russian economy grew 3%. Meanwhile, the German economy is in "tatters". The EU sanctioned itself.

Russia will not allow American or NATO missiles on their border anymore than America would allow Russian missiles along the Canadian or Mexican border. Why is this so hard for American and NATO leaders to understand?

When ever i see Michael Hudson on, i know i'll get a blast of real legit common sense practical understanding of how things work.
A well rounded discussion on the world economy and its relationship to current world political and military events.
Turkey has tried to join the EU for at least 25 years, and been kept on hold.
It must be very aggravating for them to see one of the most corrupt countries in Europe (Ukraine), being offered fast track membership. And this was when there was an active civil war happening there!
Though I wanted the UK to remain in the EU, in the years since 2016, I've been forced to come to the conclusion that the EU is warmongering, and racist. They kept saying their main reason for existence was to avoid war in Europe (and to make each other wealthy through mutual trade), but they have rejected all attempts at diplomacy with Russia.
It's been a huge disappointment - especially the Greens in Germany!
The German Greens exposed themselves as having been transformed into warmongers no.1 already in the early '90's. On examination, I suspect much of the Green movement has been fueled by Empire NGO money for quite some time.
You won't find Greta in the front of an anti-war parade any time soon.
