  • In this video, I show you how to generate electricity using water and make a powerful flashlight.
To generate free energy using water, I use the reaction between aluminum and activated carbon, and because the output voltage is low and the LED consumption voltage is high, I use a booster module to increase the output voltage.

The batteries the guy cut open in the video were not lithium. If you cut open a lithium battery, it will explode. Please make sure you are not cutting open the wrong type of battery.

Aluminum and carbon water batteries are actually doubtful and many people who decide to replicate this "battery" will be very disappointed because it will not work. But in terms of weak lighting 1 LED (3 LEDs is Nonsens in this case), the miniature DC-DC up changer (joul pump) can light up 5-6V LED. The LED performance is dependent on the supplied power. If the LED has the desired voltage input, even at a very small current (mA) - LED will be limited, for example, to 5 percent of its performance, which will result in a weak candlestock.

Nope it is a chemical reaction that consumes the aluminium and carbon, sofra i can tell this is a 'primary battery' not an accumulator or ACCU.

kinda genius you decided to use carbon instead of aluminum or steel plates, something I've seen before. Wonder how long you can keep it on before adding salt. Its basically a giant battery. :)

You'd still have to come up with massive amounts of aluminum & carbon/charcoal for the reaction.
The aluminum would corrode fairly quickly, then you'd have a shit ton of rusty aluminum waste that you'd have to figure out what to do with.
See why that's not such a good idea?
It'd promote unending coal mining or wood burning to create the huge amounts of carbon you'd need.
It'd also support mining fluorite aka "fluorspar" to be used as a flux for smelting the aluminum & strip mining ore bauxite to extract the aluminium oxide from it.
Possibly worst of all, smelting aluminum requires processes that pump tons of long-lasting toxic fluoride waste & greenhouse gases into the environment which contribute to detrimental climate change & the contamination of vegetation, create significant amounts of environmental contaminants called polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons that cause cancers, cardiovascular disease, & developmental problems in humans exposed to their pollution, leave behind cyanide-forming materials that are usually used to make aluminum flouride & synthetic sand which require additional polluting industrial processes, & require absolutely enormous amounts of electrical energy.
And then there's the untold amounts of fossil fuels needed to extract & transport all of the materials to make your ongoing stream of aluminum material; from the several different mining operations, to their various processing plants, to the smelting plants, then to distributors, & finally delivered to you at the Dead Sea, at least until they tap the mines & new ones must be contracted, until we basically poison the Earth beyond all hope (if we haven't already).
So yeah... I just don't think that the logistics of using this particular method for energy, which wouldn't be unlimited or in any way sustainable, are that feasible or desirable.
