he was nominated for "trainer of the year" amongst other things. Remember,
people don't just "split" after 9 years
together. Someone did something to
make that happen.
Yup. I remember reading that Abel wanted a big percentage (bigger than normal) for his trainers fee. Gennadiy wanted to work out a new fee.
GGG didn’t want to pay the percentage he had been paying because he had just signed a deal with DAZN. He wanted to restructure the contract. Abel didn’t come out and ask for anything, GGG signing his new deal made him want to renegotiate.
Abel ruined GGG. Go look at GGG when he was fighting in Germany. GGG was super slick. Abel had him out there just trying to rush everyone.

To be honest, if I was in GGG shoes, I would have left too. Abel might have been GGG's trainer during the Canelo/ GGG second fight, but he wasn't even supporting his own boxer. He was praising Canelo all the way only. How would you have felt?

There probably were things that were going not so well, but overall Abel definitely has a positive effect on GGG's boxing. That being said in a way it's just part of it's nature, a fighter won't always agree with their coach on how things are done and more often than not they split. Which is fine, but often they don't find that same partnership when they've been with a coach for so long.
The split was the loss IMO, or bad decision

Abel was saying GGG had to win the last round to win the fight and didn't.

Sanchez is everything boxing should be. Golovkin is one of my favorite fighters, but it was a huge mistake to dump Sanchez.

GGG performance has nothing to do with Abel being a better coach, but with GGG ' s age. And GGG did very well because at his age, Canelo should have knocking him out. Another cherry picking gone wrong for Canelo.

GGG should have stayed with Abel Sanchez. The new trainer is not it
43 fights with only 1 very close loss under Abel Sanchez. Why in the world would GGG change trainers? And, he struggled in his last two fights under his new trainer. Didn't look like the old GGG. I think he'll defeat Murata but Murata is not really a top level opponent although he has the WBA Super Middleweight title. Should go back to Sanchez if he's intending to keep fighting at a high level much longer.
Abel gave GGG the biggest weapon in boxing fear, but he didn't gave him the counter to that faith. GGG won most of his matches even before those matches even began through fear, but when that doesn't work GGG defensive skills was a bit lacking. Which got GGG to loose faith. GGG is now searching for faith. It might be a little too late. You suppose to install faith first than fear.

The fact he didn’t give you an explanation means he doesn’t respect you. He (GGG) used you, you created a narrative kd Mexican style. Leached off caneo avkrez name and divided Mexican fans, like a crab and a bucket. When he got a 100 million dollar contract, he didn’t honor the trainer 10percent fee. In fact wanted you to take 2-3 percent, again being dishonorable because you helped built him. The fact he hasn’t explained it to you, means he just saw you as business. All that time you spent with him over your family, explains it all.
Canelo is better cause he stayed loyal to his trainers when they (people) we’re asking Canelo to let ways from Eddy.
What do you mean? GGG did meet Abel and tried to negotiate the salary. Abel got too greedy period. GGG would have been big regardless of Abel. Eddy trained Canelo since he was 13 years old, and trained him from the beginning. GGG was 28 years old Olympic silver medalist and already a WBA world champion when he met Abel

@soled25 like I said watch every second of every round and use the same criteria to judge each round like you supposed to do as a judge not as a fan and Triple G won that fight or it was a draw I watch the fight 7 times Triple G was never on the robes Canelo was once in a fight close fight but Canelo never 7 rounds go look at with the boxing media score of the fight no one isn't coping it's the fact that somebody got robbed if Triple G failed the drug test or got cheated out of to fight the Canelo fans would have been crying for the next 10 years look at the facts that's all look at the fight is not a fan but it's a judge and Triple G won that fight or it was a draw

At that point in the fight, he was losing. Right after Abel said that is when GGG started to pick it up and he started to push Canelo back.
