@@shannarafryer3111 I think I saw one in scary movie (died, and her weight was the butt of the joke) and a couple slightly overweight youngsters in fear street part 2 (died). Most of them were barely named characters, with a line or two, and I don't think they even interacted with the protagonists.

The clue was that the last thing Filipe told Simi was to “accept her body”. That let us know he did ultimately warm to her and had intended escape with her. Because to suddenly turn back into the selfish cousin that would leave her behind and flip her off, after saying something so kind unprovoked would betray his character arch.
She shouldn’t though. She is unhealthy and should be healthy. Fat is not healthy.

Only thing I dislike is how Simi don't know how to read the room -- she ask too many questions that can get her harmed and those she's speaking about. Then she denies her intuition/dream. Wtf girl..
That's how it works in real life. Your amateur stages of intuition tends to get questioned and ignored. Spirituality is very strong. It takes training which takes time for us to be strong with it. Especially when you have inner weaknesses like trauma. Fasting and her not praying along with it could make her not grounded and stable enough to follow her prophecies if this were real life. But, I feel you.

Well to be honest Filipe had it coming and his mom was 🦇💩 crazy as well. I know keto is a popular diet but dear lord this is to the extreme don’t you think 😮😂
the keto diet is very overrated, it's actually not as "healthy" as people claim it to be, because it requires you to consume alot of bad saturated fats as a substitute for sugar, in fact the whole keto diet consists mostly of saturated fats (50-60%), saturated fats are very unhealthy for your body. Your body is not used to consuming so much saturated fat as an energy source, and the diet also limits your consumption of essential proteins. In the long run keto diets can actually do more harm than good, it's nothing more than a fad diet that doesn't work. I've tried it before and it was horrible.

Then after that you go into "maintenance" of your new weight and focus on eating healthy; health priority one is losing the weight by whatever means because it's very unhealthy. The "starvation" diet is actually a fast, as mentioned here, which obese people can safely do as they live off their flesh. One obese man fasted for more than a year; he was carefully monitored by doctors the whole time to make sure; he stuck to it, he remained safe the whole time, kept the weight off, and lived a long life. A more moderate strategy is probably best for most people but there's certainly nothing morally "wrong" with self-improvement. To the contrary nothing could be so right.

However, every doctor out there would point out that his case was extremely rare, and likely the only reason he didn't die was because he spent that entire year at his house doing minimal activity. Almost all doctors admit that anyone else likely would've died from it and that is far from a recommended diet for anyone. Not to mention that he literally had to consume various vitamins to not die and he still died at the age of 51.
There is something wrong with self improvement when it isn't actually improvement. Eating disorders aren't an improvement, they are just a different form of harming yourself. There is a reason why almost no credible doctor will recommend all out starvation as a healthy method to loose weight.
Not really I didnt eat for 42 days and my cancer cell die with it.. Starving kill my cancer and save my life. I only gained 3 KG back. But I dont recommended it to everyone because everyone is different. I only eat once a day since Im a kid because my mama doesnt like me that much. So Im used to not eating. Now in 1 week I only eat 2 or 3 times. Of course theres a trusted supplement.

That all fat people have diabetes stereotype needs to be gone.

I have no idea of this is similar to the movie premise😂😂😂😂 but in a way when I was vegan that's how I felt... Or generally like if I had to kill animals myself, I would be so much skinnier.
