We just going to ignore that he straight up murdered 6 clones, and an insurance agent
Bro thats what im saying like Tf
What clones & what murders?...
😉
He didn’t murder all of them 😭
That’s like saying he straight up murdered robots
@@Realcordy no clones would be made out of human DNA that makes no sense. There's no machines in the body, that's why cloning is ethically banned
His attitude towards the pancakes is his attitude towards the clones
@Esper - I’m glad I wasn’t the only one who noticed that! 👍
When I was a child it was the story of Robert the Bruce.
No shit, Sherlock Einstein
nice observation
@@SpclOps20😂 12:22 12:22
This deserves a sequel, where he clones the entire town.
sounds like The Stepford Wives
lol
Means he will have to murder the entire town in the sequel! 😂
whats the name of the movie
Execute order… 66
I was half expecting the lab assistant to also die tragically and that sends him on another cloning spree.
Lmao me too
that's for the sequel.
Maybe in a sequel he will.
I love the complete disregard for death of so many cloned humans🤣🤣🤣.
Yeah, they merced like a good dozen innocent people.
@@Taospark they’re not “people”
They weren’t “humans” just clones I don’t know how else to emphasise that! They’re FAKE COPIES OF THE ACTUAL THING
@@Realcordy Well don't forget the actual person he killed. Also that's where things get really weird in real life,
Dolly the sheep was a clone, she may not have been the original but she seemed to be pretty happy. I think you might be implying the clone doesn't have a soul, which i suppose would make more sense then you saying it isn't biologically a living creature.
If we want to go even further away from clones Human brains can be stopped from blunt force or by other means, the fact is for that split second you are not alive, your consciousness has stopped, when your brain wakes back up it starts telling the body the things it knows but how can you be sure the person you were before you got knocked out is the same person who woke back up and not just the brain doing what it does best and trying to make things make sense. What if that person is gone and it's just the illusion of a continuous existence.
@@Realcordy are you dumb? They are still humans, they still have normal dna
The most unrealistic part of this movie was expressionless Angela from The Office becoming a therapist 😂
Most therapists are expressionless. They have to be because their job is to guide you to your own realizations. If they expressed emotion they could impart too much influence on you.
@jax422 It’s just a movie.
She’s actually a natural at being a therapist. Therapists are emotionless, but they put on an act. I’d know, I have a psych degree 😂
Imagine going to a therapist and you tell them something and they start laughing at it. 👀
I think the saddest part of this is when the final successful clone looks at the original wedding photo she says Adam isnt the same, because hes not. His greif and fruitless endeavors changed him in a way she didnt love him anymore but his clone was still the same. Glad it had a somewhat happy ending but wow was that a rollercoaster
He was just as dead as his wife at that point.
Damn I wish I could see the way you do
This... should not have ended this well 😂
Yes. I was expecting him to get found out, the police called and he gets a life sentence. The ending is what fantasies are made of.
In this movie he doesn’t clone his daughter. He cloned his Wife.
That’s such a huge detail lol
@CYTVL technically still not his kid
Movie name??
Gendo ikari
@@CYTVL Raising someone doesn't make you father every time.

If at first you dont succeed, murder another clone. Advice we can all live by.
😂😂😂
Truly a story about never giving up.
like a stalker or serial killer
the main story lesson; just accept the fact that the people we love is already passed away
That is one well built and efficient furnace
Bruh this was so wildly messed up. He still straight up murdered that insurance guy!
Yeah I like how that's totally brushed over for a happy ending. He cloned the insurance guy and then it's not like he prepared the insurance guy for the real world
@@GaiaIbis Don't worry, insurance company can't tell the difference anyway.
@@GaiaIbis yeah that part is messed up
Except that guy didn’t even care about the “fact” that he killed his wife (bad person) only money but still 💀
don't know he kind of deserves it for trying to steal the insurance money
@@Realcordy did he though? Nothing in the recap suggests that he intentionally killed his wife for insurance money, I mean he couldn't care less about it and is more obsessed about cloning her. Most likely he bought it since he proposed to her and they'll be married soon.
So not only insurance guy cared about the money more than "murder", he went and accused and threaten the guy after stalking him, thats 3 strikes already.
Messed up but eh hes an asshole
I like how, the first time he suggests cloning the daughter and having the parents raise her, he gets slapped but, for the narrative, they're alright with the idea the second time.
As a biologist, I can confirm that it is possible to clone a clone from a previous clone. However, there can be issues with the length of the telomeres, which are protective caps on the ends of chromosomes, resulting in a shorter lifespan for subsequent clones. While this may have some implications, it is not a catastrophic problem.
Regarding the use of hair for DNA analysis, it is a common misconception perpetuated in movies. In reality, only hair with the root attached, such as plucked hair, contains viable DNA for cloning or paternity testing. The strands of hair without the root do not contain usable DNA. It is perplexing why the character in the movie did not collect more meaningful DNA specimens from the body.
It is important to note that clones, like regular individuals, require the same amount of time to mature. There is currently no scientific means to accelerate the maturation process of clones.
Considering these scientific aspects, a profound science fiction movie could have been made about a professor's daughter being a clone of his wife. However, instead, got superficial comedy/dramas, with confusing narratives that may not fully explore the scientific possibilities. It is also disconcerting when movies portray murder as an acceptable means of finding meaning in one's life after experiencing loss.
@@J040PL7 You can use certain Cas9 libraries to alter several genes. For example you have the cells from the subject with genetic disease. You can fix it by Cas9, to produce a healthy clone. Although these alterations would mean that the clone is not exactly a perfect genetic copy of the original subject, but it’s not exactly like selective breeding is done in dogs. It’s a completely different thing and from biology standpoint it work to humans and it was done in the past.
It takes a lot of time obviously, but overall simple process. What prevents selective breeding in humans is the fact that humans now have human rights.
Sir can you please explain how clones are different from synthetic Robots like can a female clone give birth think like real human have sex sorry If am bothering you but I like to learn from the people who knows more than I do.
Why did you use ChatGPT to write this? I hope it's only for translation
can't you make a clone from a cell with a genetic defect that prevents shortening of the telomeres? Basically a clone from a cancerous cell? Just kidding, don't try it, it does not sound "healthy" ;)
"It is perplexing why the character in the movie did not collect more meaningful DNA specimens from the body."
There was no original body to begin with, it got burned to the ground ...and in the movie's universe u could not use a clone's DNA for cloning.
7 murders, 1 million dollars (later given as charity) and a side lover...

@@GypsyInTheHood Bruh... dude got away with literal murder and got rewarded for it.
So many crimes and he gets away without the authority noticing... Well this is a really scary outcome if ever possible. Adam should be in jail for murder and unethical experiments.
Since when is it illegal to murder your wife because she falls in love with someone else?
So agree, like I am so confused about this movie, its litterally about a guy who murders his wife on multiple occassions because she isnt up to his standards. And yet, its framed as an happy ending, its just so weird.
@@SuperYxskaft Is it really murder if she's officially dead to begin with?
hey man its okay, it was all for science
@@SuperYxskaft - And an insurance investigator.
You know the ending is sweet and all, but are we just going to ignore the fact that he killed the insurance guy?! 😂
The clones were people too. Even a clone has feelings, they aren't robots lol
Is he a serial killer yes, did they still give him a happy ending-also yes.
Also, he's not a serial killing based on our current legal system. Clones don't have rights so he only committed one murder.
All I want to know from this movie was how was he able to solve the DNA problem that causes real life clones to have a short life span
He did not
Loving someone and being in love is beautiful. But Adam is taking it too far. All this cloning🤦♀️... it'll drive you insane. Thanks for the recap! Very interesting movie!

This is a good lesson.

You're welcome.
Also while looking in to this movie I saw a similar movie called Elizabeth's harvest
Thank you so much
Great recap and a surprisingly sweet ending to the film. :)
How can anyone be happy for a guy who is a straight up ruthless multimurderer. The person who wrote this story needs serious therapy.
Agreed
In a movie industry, staff members's job is supposed to suspend beliefs. If their job is to do horror movie, then they have to make it horror movie. If their job is to do rated pg movie where you have to be an adult to watch this movie, then it is their job. If their job is to make funny movies, then it is their job. Writers do not get to control what is right or wrong. Their job is to write stories where there is no such thing as restrictions.
I think I'm a clone now there's always two of me just to hanging around.
'Cause every chromosome is a hand-me-down
ok
@Mike Perron huh?

Lovely two clones fall in love with each other. Have a great fabulous wonderful day.
When a creepy movie gets a sweet unrealistic ending
love the scene:' remove the vase just to look at her"
Initially I thought that the lab assistent killed Dawn by blocking the door in order to be with Adam😂
That was such a sweet ending, it all worked out for them. I don’t know why he didn’t just get into a relationship with the hot lab assistant from the beginning, but the ending was perfect.
The ending was so undeserved
It is clear that lab assistant did fell in love with her boss. So in order to get a good candidate, she must of decided to clone her boss. He may not have a chance to have relationship with his hot lab assistant but his clone certainly got that shot. So in a way, there is a story where the boss is having a romantic relationship with the lab assistant. It is only the boss clone that gets to have all that. So the original may be the yang boss but the clone boss is her ying boss.
Wyatt beat the breaks off of Dawn 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
She didn't want to leave the BBC even in old age 😂😂😂😂
Nobody's gonna notice that Emma doesn't have a washed lab coat 😂😂😂😂 the cloned mouse blood is still on her
If Alabama was a movie
Why i keep watching this kind of movie recap? 😂😂
lol
A Strange story and I felt he is something of a mad scientist. But its more humor and feel good than horror. I like how it explores the ethics of cloning.
The therapist is the girl from The Office
They should make another one where he clones a high school, call it, clone high
I don’t know why people feel bad for the insurance guy, man was corrupt as hell 😂.
Anecdotal with a happy ending. Impressive
Cape Fear was a damn good movie for it's time.. Watched it as a teen.. Stays one of the best along with Crush I think it's called with young Mark Wahlberg playing the antagonist..
This is a whole other level of grief and loss.
Sneaky Insurance guy bit more than he can chew 😂
Holy Furnace😂😂😂😂🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
That's a solid Divayth Fry speetch right there
Legend has it that he's still Cloning to this day.
Take a drink everytime the word "clone" is said.
wow i love how wholesome it ends
Dear God so many clones died to get the point across
I would subscribe, but these tag titles have been egregiously wrong too many times. Raising his wife, which feels like a daughter, is different than cloning his daughter to become his wife.
That furnace was warming the house very well...
😂 the clone fall in love with the clone
"Trout blends in to one of his lectures" dude's like 80 lmao
I have a vase just like the one he bought lol
So the assistant ended up bagging both Adams? Lol.
nothing like a movie on the ethics of cloning to trigger a existential crisis on the future of cloning and that its probably already happening
I think i might watch this😂
People really out there sitting more than 60 minutes watching a movie like this. Damn 😂
He could always just prop the dead ones in lawn chairs with sunglasses and rope to move their arms.
I was surprised this had a somewhat happy ending.
Legit felt some empathy grief at the beginning before the MC became yoo much of a Dr. Frankenstein.
Lmao this is so random, wth is Angela from The Office doing in this movie?😂
So easy to make clones and dispose them like nothing ahahah
I need a furnace in the house too!
At what point does he clone his daughter?
I think the joke is that he had to raise these clones like a daughter
Damn! So many twists.
Enough internet for today 😅
WTF, the clone won! 🤣🤣🤣
I actually liked this ending.
Wtf did i just watch!? Way better than blockbusters.
All those clones death as if they were object rather than living being.
Bro was able to hire the same lawyer after losing 7 times..
Over Andover, but he finally grew... so did his clones.
plot twist, he was a clone too, he cloned himself so he can go to work and clone things while the real him goes to the bar. This whole movie was the clone's life.
That's actually pretty smart
Okay anyone who propose while one is taking a dump deserves a no & big 😂 😂😂
Never thought the ending would be funny
The ending is actually really sweet tho
Is that the sweetest serial killer movie ever?
"Man Invents Cloning & Clones His Daughter To Become His Wife" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Dude killed so many people lmao
This reminds me of the madtv Arnold Schwarzenegger clone.
this movie is insane
laughed so hard
Oh yeah that incredibly flammable space...a glas blowing studio, haha. random piles of dry newspaper stacked up. You get molten glass, fire is normal, that;s why it's big open spaces make of concrete. You can get burned terribly of course but the whole place going up in flames?
lol
Never let them know your next move
Clone ur crush if they can't be with u
Well glad the clones got an happy ending. ❤😅
One of the best ending
Moral of the Story: Build a furnace in your house.
I wonder if it dawned on him that he could use Dawn to clean the brush. I wonder if Dawn was from a delta and she wore a flower. Was Tony Orlando & Dawn playing on the radio ?
I 10000% believe the lab assistant locked the wife in the studio and set it on fire so she could get with the professor!
About half way through I realized this was a comedy
Dude cloned half the city LOL
Lmao reminds me of the Dunmer who cloned female copies of himself and made them basically be his wives/daughters/maids. Classic Elder scrolls
what?
what
what???
Since a lot of people are “What?,” in Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind, Divyath Fyr belonging to House Telvanni cloned himself and created female versions of him, Alfe Fyr, Beyte Fyr, Delte Fyr, and Uupse Fyr, apparently using jars and his own flesh. While he calls them his daughters, they call themselves his wives.
Man accidentally nukes a town and clones everyone to make up for it
He gets his student in the end. Me jealous
The tone of this movie should have been way darker than it was.
I hope i have this ability to clone
lol what a weirdly wholesome story
This movie is weirdly funny XD
Dude got away with MULTIPLE murders
The clones are together ❤
Lmao this was really dark but at least the clones have a happy ending too 😂 and he got with Emma
U mean only 1 of the 6 clones had a happy ending. The original wife would have been so disappointed
the therapist is Angela from The Office
