Great job. I really enjoy watching your videos when I have time.I have learned a few things from watching them. I hope to get a few implements for my 2000 series. I got mine for free from my neighbor and got it going again. It still needs some love.I hope to use it around my 2 acres. I don't need it for cutting grass but for a garden tractor. I can't really afford anything bigger right now. It's inspiring to watch one in action again. Keep up the good work and hope you have lots of fun with yours.

Thanks! I really do enjoy these little tractors. If you are looking for a rear sleeve hitch for implements, I know the current model for the XT3 works with some modifications.

The lift motor is the perfect size. It’s puts the gearbox just at the top of the ground. That belt drive is similar to the John Deere 112 tiller attachment. Goes deeper than most tillers too.

It was a guess on my part, and an expensive one. Pretty happy with it. Excited to try fabricating a sleeve hitch lift for it.

Yeah I’m planning to do a hydraulic belt driven to my cub one day but just haven’t had the funds or time yet to do it

Excellent video, I’m rebuilding the same model tiller for my 2166 tractor. Could you help me out? I can no longer find the idler bracket assembly for sale. The bracket you talked about how the rod pin fit in the collar properly, but the hole was bigger in the rod. Could you trace yours or send me some dimensions? I will have to make my own. I also need to make the bar and handle that bracket is attached to, but I think I have enough information to make that just fine.

    Hello,
I purchased almost the same set up but the belt broke. I’ve been searching for a video on what belt is used and how to replace it. Curious if you have any advice or videos on the belt change for this tiller set-up.

It is very much a clay type soil. You are correct, it needs quite a bit of work.
