My skincare journey has had to change and I am forever grateful to have discovered your channel Dr V I have learned so
much amazing knowledge to try to make my skin better again.
Here’s an example, I came across a particular baby balm that I was interested in for my baby and I wondered why I didn’t buy it months ago? The 3rd ingredient is FRAGRANCE!! Of course that’s why I didn’t purchase it back then! I forgot about that and I felt so much gratitude to Dr V. for ingraining us in which ingredients to avoid.

Hey, I have been niacinamide 10% and alpha arbutin from minimalist..I haven't tried vit c so I can't say anything about it .it's been 6-7 months m using so I can I guess tell you how to use it..Letting you know I'm acne prone skin.. I do my skincare with serum during night time only every day bcz each of the serum is priced at 550-650 and If I use twice I will finish up in a month and I can't spend every month on my skincare ..so if u can apply it twice and money/budget is not Ur issue then u can go with twice.. Alpha arbutin is an active so it's better to use in the night, if u are looking forward to use it in morning then use sunscreen as a must!!!! In the morning I was my face, I use cold water spray as my toner/ice cube sometimes, then I apply hyloraunic moisturizer of ponds ( u can use serum as well, apply on wet skin) let it dry and then I top it up with moisturizer ( normal moisturizer not the hyloraunic one ) and sunscreen.. If you are someone who wants to use alpha arbutin in morning do this: facewash+ toner+ Hyloraunic serum (5mins gapp)+ Alpha arbutin 20mins gap+ moisturizer+ sunscreen( if one doesn't have hyloraunic it's okay, I just added hyloraunic for the one who has both serums to use in morning)... In the evening when I come back home I just wash my face well, toner and apply moisturizer..in the night..as I use actives in the night my routine is.. Facewash+ toner+ hyaluronic moisturizer of ponds/serum (5-10mins gapp)+ alpha arbutin ( I make sure all of my hyloraunic product is absorbed and dried..bcz Alpha arbutin is an active when active comes in contact with water it's efficiency reduces so make sure when ever u apply alpha arbutin or any active Ur skin is dry) then later 20mins+ I apply normal moisturizer..For those of beginners don't apply Alpha arbutin every day it's an exfoliating serum..start by 3 times a week at night.. I do sometimes skip my alpha arbutin even at night when I feel my skin doesn't have marks or pigmentation and it won't require to exfoliate..I give my skin a break that ways.. Remember to do a patch test first Always.. Vitamin c I'm not sure as I don't use, but I hope this info helps 😊

I've used niacinamide multiple times in different products and each time i break out in rashes all over my face. i abosolutely hate that everyone boasts about this ingredients as if it's 100% suitable for everyone in the world. and now all these companies are putting niacinamide in ALL of their products and it has completely limited what i can use for my hyperpigmentation. When people say it's the best ingredient ever and everyone should be using it i feel so gaslit. I'm so over it. 😭

I thought I was the only one! It doesn’t matter what product it is in and the percentage of it in the product if there’s niacinamide in anything I use I break out to badly and my face gets red and hot and itchy. I’ve had to stop using the moisturiser I’ve been using for over 5 years because they’ve reformulated it with niacinamide since everyone is raving about it. So frustrating 😭

I do keep this product as well. I can't read the inci list here either but to rest your mind . The laws over seas are so that the actives are not allow to be higher levels like in the states. Retinol isn't in products there. It's one of many actives outlawed . They practice more on healing skin and it's barrier .
