This had a Pied Piper feeling to it. I can’t imagine those poor parents losing their children this way. That’s pretty terrifying.
Such a sad story. I can't imagine how those parents felt. It must have been so terrible to lose the youngsters, it must have been really awful to not hear the kids playing outside. How quiet it must have been! Thank you so much for another wonderful story. ❤
I used to live in Amboy, which is walking distance from Yacolt. Those woods certainly ARE spooky. Beautiful, but dense and easy to get lost(much like most of rural PNW).
I still live on the border of amboy/ yacolt about 10 minutes away from the fargher lake store. It is honestly how Erie the woods get at night around here.
This is one of the saddest stories I have ever heard! Those poor children and families!
Glad to hear your voice brother God Bless
I am from the Pacific northwest. Portland to be exact. Over my lifetime I've lived in Washington, on several occasion. Yacolt was one if the places.
I have a dear friend that lives there now, and has for several years.
I visit her as little as possible.
She lives right by, I'm talking, a couple hundred feet, from the blueberry fields.
She lives is a huge house, tucked in the side of the mountain.
She lives there with her daughter, her daughters boyfriend and an old woman.
Shes not a very friendly old woman and shows herself and scares the hell outta everyone pretty regular. She's a ghost.
I also have a friend named Charlotte that happens to live there. Ironic the founder of yacolt, was named Charlotte.
It is a creepy little place. A lot of strange folks come outta there.
Yacolt butts up against Battleground, which is even creepier. Washougal and camas but up against Battleground and there is creepier shit there too. Indian artifacts are everywhere. A rock hounds dream.
The whole area is off. You can feel it. It truly is a different place. The cemeteries are old old old.
Yacolt is evil. Believe that.
I lived in Portland for several years, made many forays into Washington state. Yes, the whole area around Yacolt just doesn't feel right. Thanks for listening, Sharon!
Raised in Battle Ground, can confirm.
hey i really wanted to ask you a question or 2 if you don’t mind, i really do hope you see this 😂. I live near battleground and really have gotten into metal detecting. I really wanted to know what areas you’d think are best to search or would have native american history possibly? I heard there is a castle in yacolt and i tried to find it the one time i went, i got to the creek where you cross on the big logs but it was snowing so i didn’t go.
what’s creepy about battleground? any abandoned places or places with a rich history? I get you don’t have to answer any of there but it really would help me. i’m trying to learn our area from every perspective, here i am looking into the history of yacolt and where i might find some old artifacga
@@dannygrekah7 yacolt Washington is a bad place.
You can feel the evil oozing through.
The blueberry fields is a great place to start.
Miss Charlotte, the founder of Yacolt lived there.
The name Yacolt means "where evil dwells".
I have a friend that lives almost exactly where miss Charlotte did, behind the blue berry fields.
They have a ghost that feels with them.
It's so creepy they don't go outside at nite for fear of the entity. I'd have to show you some cool places for you to find your treasures. It would be impossible to tell you.
I could hook you up with some folks too that have found treasures and have ghosts.
@@sharonhutchison5923 hey that’s so cool that you responded. Do you know around what area the old blue berry fields are? I looked around the map and google and no results for a blueberry field. Is it pass above the highschool area? Yacolt Highschool.
I would so so love if you would have some free time and where able to come out to explore yacolt with me!! Who are those contacts around here that found treasures?!? do they have social media pages?
thanks so much
Steve thank you so much I appreciate you sharing your stories ❤
Thanks for watching, Betty!

Great job Steve and all, you sound better than ever,I really appreciate the hard work you do.the best videos on CZcams
NE OHIO HEARS YOU LOUD AND CLEAR STEVE STOCKTON.....
This initially reminds me of the Pied Piper story, or the Stephen King's Storm of the Century movie. Its already eerie but im gonna listen to it, learn more about these areas.
I have never heard this sad story 😢 I can't imagine. Thank you Steve🥰
Another great listen .. thank you Papa Steve 🤗
That is tragic and strange. Where did the kids go? Is good to you again, Steve. Good video.
Great story Steve! Tragic but a good tale all the same
Thank you.

This is where my family is from. And whoever gifted me the membership, thank you so much!
Thanks Steve; always good to hear your voice and stories.
So happy to hear your voice and see your videos again. I'm awfully stubborn, I haven't watched the other channel since you departed from there. I guess you could say I'm pretty loyal...lol
Love ya Steve ❤

The other channel just isn't the same without him. I unsubscribed from them. I'd follow Steve anywhere.
@@maraamelino8445 yes! Same for me. When Steve was gone all of a sudden and they scrubbed his existence from the channel, that was it for me.
Thanks, Steve & Sandy!
👍🌹🌹❤️🐾
Great story. The cats say Hi.
Hi Kim! Thanks for listening! Say hello to your cats from me! --Steve
I’ve lived within 20 miles of Yacolt all my adult life and traveled through the town to get to hiking destinations. I believe I have even stopped at the restaurant you mentioned. However, I never got a weird feeling about the town.
Great video love, thank you 👏👏🖤
Thank you for all the help and inspiration, and encouragement love! 🖤
Wow Steve I am native to Washington State and never heard anything about this. I will try and make a trip. Judy
It's an odd little town, Judy! Check it out, see if you feel it too!
@@TalesUntoldYT I differently will. Thank you for a great video and idea. Keep up the great work Steve, midnight society and Sandy!!
Great work Steve, Sandy & team... Congratulation, and thank you for the Awesome content, on the New channels! 🐕&🐈-👋
❤ my favorite narrator.
You are something ❤ great story Steve!
So glad to hear your voice again.
Thank you Missy, welcome home!
Okay!!! That was really a mesmerizing story. I loved it!!
OMG that steam engine looks nearly identical to the one that runs along my place here in Chehalis, WA. Side by side comparison is nearly the same despite 'my' train having upgrades and repairs over the years. It was a logging engine.
That train still runs around thr town! It's actually parked on the tracks right behind the "welcome to yacolt" sign!
This channel could use a playlist
Loved it!
Steve !!!!!! You're Back, Thank Goodness !
HEY STEVE! Rocco from jersey
Hey Rocco! Welcome home, brother!
Great Show! I love true accounts. Tragic story 😞
so very sad for these families
I lived on yacolt mountain…. Whoa it was weird
Omg 😮 it's Steve!!! Was missing your voice over on MPM
Welcome home!
This is very similar to the Pied Piper of Hamlyn, even down to one child, a boy, being left behind. I thought the Pied Piper of Hamlyn was just a story. Maybe it's not.
There you are!!
Here I am! Thanks for joining me, Janny!
The story of the children made me think of "The One Who Stayed" by Shel Silverstein.
I’ve never visited this part of Washington, but I might have to do so.
I am Listening
Thank you, Deborah!
Hello All! Now, I'm goina go enjoy the new video.😊
Omg i found Steve Stockton, WHAT IN THE FLYING FUCK HAPPENED TO THE MISSING PERSONS MYSTERIES channel, Steve? And where can we see the videos you were narrating there??????
I think all of those videos he narrated belong to Missing Persons Mysteries channel unfortunately.. So now Steve had to pretty much start over on this channel. Mpm channel has a new narrator that seems to be redoing all of Steve's old videos. (I don't know if it's word for word but that's just my speculation. 🙂)
They deleted them all and redid them
That aint i asked
@@SergiuSalcau00 they completely scrubbed his existence away from the channel and re-recorded every video. A LOT of people left the channel. There were so many videos I loved to fall asleep to. All gone
@@jxn1056 fuckin morons, steve was the FUXKING SHIT, his voice was perfect there, but hey we have him here now still awesome.
Wow your upload is literally in my county , so close 😊
thanks again, i wonder if this is what the Santiam Witch is based on/referring to
I used to go to the prison to visit my step dad, it’s deep in the woods of Larch Mountain and very, VERY eerie.
I grew up hearing this story, my family has been in Yacolt for over a hundred years. In fact, on the above frame of pictures, third down on the very left is a picture of my
G Grandparents, Gus and Anna Minuth at their house located just east of the Yacolt city limits. I do believe the massacre happened long before 1901 though.
I can't see anyone in the photo😐!
Wow 😢
dang! missed by 30 minutes 😁🥓🥓🥓🥓🥓🥓🥓🥓
❤❤❤❤
Really enjoy you're narrations to stories Steve im glad to see u made ya own channel keep up the good work.. just a thought mybe u can do some stories on Yosemite national park missing folks
Hello from the high desert of New Mexico! Yosemite videos are on the way! Thanks for listening and welcome home!
@AMONG THE MISSING wow really by the way I'm from roswell new mexico where the aliens crashed I reside in Sacramento California now but love my land of enchantment respects 🙏!!
Isnt their. Cases of whole. Villages vanishing. ???? Ive read. Somewhere. Very strange. Phinomina. All round. !!
I encountered a sasquatch up in the northern cascades while hiking alone.
It was the most “real” thing to ever happen to me.
Right off the shore of Lake Diablo…
Sounds like. The pied piper of. Hamelin. Syndrome. But that was they didnt pay him for getting rid of rats. !!!!!!
I lived in Yacolt
now you're a ghost
Worked at the store for 7/8!years
Lots of Sasquatch sittings in Yacolt, notoriously interested in children.
The atty did it. No coincidence’s.
Does any one know if this is true?
Great narration of some kinda woo woo ghost story content. What can I say, I like the channels that filter out the bs and try to get it a bit less fantastical and mythological. I mean, you want feedback, right? Or just dozens of high fives in the comments.
Then don’t watch.
👍😝✌️💯
🥲
Probably taken by another tribe?
How many FOIA requests have you filed in doing actual research? You dont just piggy back off of other hard word do you?
How many have you filed? I've been to the location myself several times, have you? We get our research from the same place everyone else does. No one owns the missing. Thanks for listening!
When are we going to get more of you and Sandy on live streams? The dynamic duo.
I sent the link to My Mom and She is watching it now 🩷
