StarKid means so much to all of us. The fact that I am such a big fan and I was only like two when they started, just shows how good these people are. I don’t know about the rest of you, but just listening to homecoming, I had goosebumps every single second and I wasn’t even in the same continent as them. Without these amazing people, I am not sure I would be in the same state as I am now, after this year. The StarKid fandom in itself has become so much bigger. I only found out about these insane people in March, but the fandom has been so welcoming to me. I will probably never meet most of you in this incredible fandom, but we can still share our love of this group. I wish you all, team StarKid, in America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, wherever, I wish you all the best of luck in your lives and the new year. Let’s just all hope that we can see these wonderful people do the thing they and we love, very soon.

Dear Starkid,
Probably no one is going to see this but I want you guys to know how much you have helped me and others this year. This year has been stressful for everyone, but especially for teens, not being able to talk with friends, plus the pressure of online school. Starkid has made me feel happier ever since I found TGWDLM in May 2020. I have laughed more than I thought I would during this burning dumpster fire of a year. I have friends who are struggling with depression and Starkid is one of the only things that keeps them going.
In May, I was so stressed, but then CZcams was my savior and I got recommend TGWDLM. I went on to watch your other musicals and am blown away by your talent and how you can seamlessly transition from a very emotional moment to a hilarious joke. You guys are incredible, and even though I live across the country from LA, I will always be supporting you (just make sure that when you do another tour, you come to DC!)
Starkid has helped me start socializing with people who have the same interests as me, and for that I say thank you. You have made my year magical, and I wish that you have a great New Year.

Finding StarKid has probably been the best thing that’s happened to me so far. They’ve really made this disaster of a year so much better. The community is something I’ll cherish forever. It feels like home.

Dear starkid. Thank you so much for keeping me alive this year. I was in a shitty space and things with my family were tough. Your shows kept me sane and happy. I hope, I really do, that you know what you do for me and the other fans. Keep it up and thank you.
i never cry at stuff but i did at this one... starkid has brought me so much. it helped me realize who i am. it brought me an amazing group of friends. it kept me entertained through a global pandemic. i will never be able to thank them enough

Though we may never meet and I live in a different country you have help get me and so many others through the challenging year of 2020. I rediscover AVPM in May and it got me through online mock exams and then the summer holiday where we had to be at home. This autumn Nightmare time and AVHSCC have kept me going with a VHSCC keeping me in the festive spirit whilst having to self isolate in my room during the run up to Christmas. Sending you all love and hope you all stay happy and safe. I can't wait to see what you do this year 💜

I discovered starkid right before I started questioning my sexuality (about a year ago, when black friday came out on youtube) and everyone helped so much with the whole process. Starkid, thank you so much for the family you've created

Im not super active in the fandom yet, but i am always impressed by everyone's kindness and acceptance. I feel like i can belong here.

Starkid's done so much for me in the past few years. They've helped me feel comfortable in my own skin and helped me realize it's okay to be a bit silly at times. I'll never have enough words to say my appreciation for them. Thank you Starkid for all you've done

This song makes me feel like Starkid is over. They've been one of the only reasons I've gotten through this year. Diabetic and avoided going out, but this community has made me not feel so alone. Thank you all.
I keep forgetting that I joined the Starkid fandom in 2020 (everything before autumn was a blur tbh), and honestly it was one of the best things to happen to me. These amazing stories with amazing songs and amazing people who work on them. Not to mention, I found a community filled with so many nice people! Here's to 2021, and here's to Starkid :)
CZcams can be a wonderful thing sometimes. Yeah, their copyright system could use some work. Yeah, they can be fast on the trigger for demonitization. Yeah, sometimes videos don't show up at all when they first get uploaded. But I'll be dammed if I haven't found myself feeling more like family to those I watch through a screen than my own blood. And I'm so glad to have found Starkid during a hard time last year. Something new to me and refreshing, and now I'm neck deep in the lore of Hatchetfield and constantly quoting Starship and Twisted. And the community is one of the best I've seen on here, which is why it's such an honor to call myself a part of it. 💜💛

Super cliche to say, but I don't care I'm saying it anyway; Starkid was one of the only things to keep me going in this mess of a year. Rewatching old shows, witnessing the glory of Nightmare Time and A VHS Christmas Carol(of which I have most of memorized, it's so good.) The videos all the fans post as well, they've all helped. "Thank you Starkid" doesn't do my emotions justice, but thank you Starkid..

to team starkid,
watching that tgwdlm compilation with lauren's face on the thumbnail was probably one of the best decisions i ever made. starkid introduced me to a whole new side of theatre that i'd never seen before, and it was beautiful discovering it for the first time. it made me feel more connected to theatre than anything, knowing that musical theatre wasn't this big, glamorous idea which i could only experience a small part of, but it's a community of people who're just doing what they love. it made me realise that this is something i could actually do for a living, that i didn't need to be a big belter or something like that to be a part of the musical theatre community. i can't even put into words how much your shows mean to me. so thank you, thank you, thank you for doing what you do. :)
I only started watching starkid last year and now it’s one of my favorite things on the internet it had helped me grow closer to people who are now my best friends and mostly they helped me laugh during this really trash year. Seeing them do nightmare time helped my friends and I get ideas for how to put on a virtual show that was actually a success! My city went into lockdown the legit day before our spring musical was supposed to open and it was my first time playing a lead ever and along side people who I had looked up to for years who were graduating (These people actually got me into starkid). I was really depressed after for that and other reasons but diving into my obsession and also just crying to sands of time from twisted for hours on end helped me deal with my emotions in a way I wasn’t really letting myself do. I am someone who adores theatre but it always seemed impossible unless you have a budget worth more that a giant house but they have shown me that that isn’t true and for that Im really grateful. I know that none of them will ever see this but thanks. Also Starkid Potter great vid as always!
