    Aurelio Verdi, the legendary Tuscan board shaper is taking us into his factory on this exclusive glimpse of the process and artwork that goes into shaping his AV windsurf boards. With his 23+ years of experience in the windsurf board shaping world, he is at the top of his game and the quality and performance of his boards speak for themselves. It was a great privilege to experience this process in person with Aurelio, as he puts all his passion and energy into creating a masterpiece.
    He also tells let us into his world on how he climbed the ladder to such great success in chasing his dream. We are inspired by his drive, commitment and passion for the sport and his amazing ability to rise to the top throughout major challenges along the way.

    What I got from this is he's a leonardo da vinci of boards. Combining science and artistry to define a perfect product and then trying to get the best factory to try and replicate it.

    Love how Aurelio breaks down the board bottom shape into simple concepts - flat = fast, V = good turning in waves but unstable downwind, concave = slow but comfortable in chop

    This is custom manufacturing by hand, but the series boards are manufactured in the factory, in mold like at Cobra in Thailand

    Where in Toscana is your factory? I thought that I recognised a bit of road on the way to it from my youth in Bocca di Magra - the road on the way in to Marina di Carrara.

      Why an italian classes ? Ok but the anglosaxen people don’t speak any foreing languages …. School problem ?
