Yes he won't get 180 tackles like B-Wags but he will definitely get over 100, cover way better and make Seahawks defense better at the LB position. Expecting a extension this year once he shows he's a long term piece.
Wow. The football knowledge, the graphics, the slow-mo repeated footage so my mind can grasp what is happening... Wow. So well done. So informative! Love it!
Thanks, and well said. Would love for you to break down Wallace. Looks to me like he has some martial arts in his tackling; using opponents’ energy against them instead of using his own. Peace!
I can also see us taking 3 qbs but I think they really like howell especially let him learn this year and have a true competition next year maybe trade or release geno save money or let howell sit 2 years and really develop we are going to be great in couple years
Right before you said Kam Chancellor I was just like that’s why we need a bam bam Kam. I remember that hit on the cardinal gaurd. I really thought he killed a man that day. If I ever coach I will forever show tape of Kam and the LOB
So a modem linebacker is KJ Wright. Honestly, I think you are still looking for a duo like Bobby and KJ. Or if you want the modem equivalent, Smith and Queen. Fred Warner and Greenlaw would also work. Funny how the best defenses have that LB pairing, yet people continue to devalue LBs.
I absolutely agree. I haven't really understood that people keep saying that the LB is a worthless position but every elite defense is captained by elite LBs. You are totally right that KJ is the new mold. I think Dodson absolutely fits that mold as a guy who can do everything at a solid level.
Absolutely! They will probably just be in my Free Agent Recap video, but I'll make sure their sections and film breakdowns in there are in depth. Thanks for watching!
@@davidhaseley953 I really appreciate your interest! I have been working on setting that up and I am getting close to releasing it but I'm a little bit of a perfectionist so it is taking a little while :)
I get the idea of bringing him back to be a linebacker, but the issue is that even though he weighs as much as a linebacker, I haven't really seen him do much LB things. Dodson is imperfect when asked to fill his gap and engage blockers, but Jamal is just so much worse. So I think he would be more of a situational LB and not really a starter. It's an interesting idea for sure. Thanks for watching!
What everyone needs to see is seattle filled every hole on our team and so now instead of reaching in the draft they can take best player available which also means we can trade back maybe 2 times in middle of second possibly 2 2nd rd picks or take best player at 16 they have no needs so it's who they value most well 1 small need guard this draft gonna be great like last year
I'm not going to do a whole individual breakdown for him, but I will be making a free agency recap that will have mini breakdowns of each player. I'll make sure to go pretty in depth on him because it sounds like a lot of people are interested. Thanks for watching!
His contract makes me think he was a panic signing. JS said they weren't ready for Brooks. I watched a bunch of bills games last year. Not 1 time did I come away with Dodson being a difference maker. I agree with you. PFF grades can be comedy.
I really don't think it was a "panic" signing. Jerome Baker might be but at the very least Dodson is a player that is, in my opinion, probably an upgrade from Brooks, at least in Mike Macdonald's system. If the Seahawks brought Brooks back I would have serious questions about his zone coverage IQ that I don't have with Dodson.
@@teslamodelxdaniel8260 If I had to guess, I would say that the one year was more from Dodson than JS. Unless you are getting a big payday, you want to reach FA as fast as possible. It wouldn't just be add another year at the same APY because Dodson is betting on himself to get a big deal next year. He is young enough that if he plays well this year, he could be a free agent at just 26 years old with proven experience and get north of $12M per year. Also from the hawks perspective, he doesn't have that many snaps as he only got about 500 this year and barely played previously. So sample size creates a risk for sure and you might just want to limit that.

I couldn't agree more. This is exactly who the hawks need long term so I expect them to lock him up at the end of the year with an extension.

Thank you!
If you dont see much from him in coverage that means he’s a baller
Loved this breakdown and analysis! Provides me a better look on some of these more unknown players we got recently. Subbed!
Thanks for the sub! I really appreciate it.
Subbed.
Cheers from Brazil!

11:38 this is why i think it would be a good experiment to try and get jamal back and have him play lb

Dude a baller
He really is. I wasn't joking that he is a blast to watch. :)
Is there a slight echo effect on the entire video? Like I’m genuinely asking to make sure I’m not just sleep deprived
I don't think so? I just rewatched and I didn't hear anything. You might just be tired 😂 (or CZcams's being weird)

Did you put out a Jerome Baker vid and take it down cause I feel like I saved it to watch later and now can't find it hahaha?
No I haven't yet. :) That must've been someone else's video.
You also need to a draft simulation vid
That's a great idea! I'll definitely do one of those as the draft gets closer because they are a lot of fun.
Where do you get your film??
NFL+ offers All-22 film, which is this birds eye view.
Can you do Jerome baker next?

PFF struggles with ranking safeties, too probably for the same reasons.

Pff grades suck but I hope they’re right about him
Pff sucks a player can start have 3 plays get sack n 2 pass break ups and they'll give them a 99 ovr grade they need to evaluate better
