I think the Turkish tree has been patched. All the Create/Join faction focuses under Reconfigure Foreign policy branch have a "Bypass if in Faction" line added. So they should not complete these focuses
It would still mess you up if they are your puppet but not in a faction though

Cant believe pdx still hasnt fixed the greeks and turkish focus trees. Like seriously ? It takes literally 14 lines of code and 8 minutes to do that. I know because I modded it myself. Just hotfix it ffs, they really need a custodian team.
And the fact that puppets ultimatum dont get sent to their overlord, like for Bessarabia or Albania. Or Yugo in this video as well. For real this would take 1 day of work with 1 dude on it to fix it all.

If my ally is going to capitulate like Poland might I'd usually put a line of troops on the rail lines I need and on ports so those tiles don't flip and the enemy can't move troops in, then let the enemy capitulate them. Then you can keep holding your line and use a couple divisions on garrison to retake the area behind you and you don't need to worry about the land flipping again while the country is already capitulated.
Nice trick I will use it in the future.

Its really nice to see you playing as my fav nation of whole hoi4. If I could recommend, you could get after Hungary also Czechoslovakia so Germany is even more weaker. Then you just hold Slovakia and they´re unable to push threw the mountains. Its just funny thing to see they´re offensive crushing there against your units and in the meanwhile you destroy german units in Poland :) Alsoo you can try to hold Czech lands, make a push and encyrcle all units in Poland. But its almost unable to do (I achieved it once i 7 games so its pretty frustrating :) but the feeling of getting 60 german units encyrcled in 1939 is just the best)

Small countries concentrated big counties dispersed unless u go air heavy then always concentrated by 1939 u get that 15% bonus to production really helps small nations but i think mostly depends if you go air or aa heavy and the enemy u face
I usually pick concentrated if I'm fighting the axis and dispersed if I'm fighing the allies bc of the better defense against bombs
If i remember correctly, combining the Zveno and NatSoc to get the "Integrate the Ratniks" focus gives you +500 manpower per week in addition to recruitable pop.
Combine with Prussia of the Balkans for 145% recruitable pop calculators.
Dang, i thought you were gonna re-play ww1 mod bulgaria, but even tho this is gonna be a great video!

I think they fixed Historical Turkey going rogue while a puppet. I recall seeing that in an update and was able to have them as an puppet as Stalin without them breaking.

OK, so there is a unique thing that you or your editor do where you quietly start outro music ahead of the end of the video which is weirdly eerie if the video doesn't seem to be coming to an actual end. I've noticed it before but this time the end wasn't even an end...it felt more like the end of Empire Strikes Back, where things are on a cliff hanger...

Insane question, for some of the trickier achievements, would it not be slightly easier to do a world conquest with a superpower, balkanize the entire world to the max extent possible, with the exception of, say, all of Greece getting released and played as, which is now a sapling amongst splinters?

In all my play through a Bulgaria gets blitzkrieged burned pillaged and set to brutal oppression because of the time they sent me a request for some territory I had 15 times a minute

yooooo for concentrated industry it’s really only better if you go past 1944 for the boosted factory output. So unless you’re going for a long game like world dom it’s usually worse

For Bulgaria it is best to pick Concentrated Industry cause your economic national spirits have efficiency growth.
So it is almost as grabbing both economic techs at the same time.

I would argue going for the "Restrained Paramilitary Organizations" than the "Ban Far-Right Organizations" as it gives 500 weekly manpower which is strong early game for Bulgaria.

Are you against the 1 division training trick or is there a different reason you didn't use it?
Dispersed is good for all the majors and if you want to play a long game whereas Concentrated is better for minors & small nations who start out in a very handicapped spot, such as Bulgaria, Spain, Netherlands etc.

Watching this video as someone whose extensively played Fascist Fate of the Balkans Bulgaria has certainly been interesting since I am quite familiar with Bulgaria. For example, at 3:02 you mention about the worrys of Zveno staging a coup, but I can tell you from experience that it is pretty much impossible to have them coup you. I crush the socialists first, then integrate Nationail socialist movement, then Agrarian Union, then Zveno. When you're about a third of the way to fixing Zveno the coup timer may pop up, but every time you do another decision supporting the Zveno the coup timer gets extra days added to it, making it impossible for it to fire unless you want the coup to happen.
I dont crush NSM because I want the advisor, I don't crush Agrarian union because I also want the advisor (sometimes- the NSM is superior obviously for -5% consumer goods)
Im an always concentrated no matter what guy, theyre one of the few options in the game with no real right answere, pick what ya like
