    Just come across yiur video Craig can yiu tell me if I need to turn the supply off with a screw driver on the copper pipe or will it be okay

      Hi Keith, you wont need to isolate the hot or cold pipes ( Copper or plastic pipes ) if you put your plug in and down turn on any water from the taps, I always kind of just do it as habit tho.

    Are you supposed to completely shut the water off first?

      You don't have to completely turn your water supply off if you're just dismantling or cleaning your waste traps or U bends as long as you don't turn on your hot or cold water taps.
