this man is so important
It’s been wonderful watching him evolve from a cocky boy during Blur and Brit Pop days through to Gorillaz,. Love this! …and speaking as a 64 year old woman I haven’t seen someone rock a mullet as awesome as Damon’s! ❣️
totally agree. the mullet rocks!
To Ma Ball: What's a mullet?
@@eddyvideostar his hairstyle in this video
Not so sure about the mullet, but then l’m only 60.lol
Yesss♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Fucking nailed it Damon mate. What a wonderful song and performance.
Yeah man! 😜
Damon might be one of the purest musicians of this generation. It’s obvious.
I remember going in car rides with my dad when I was 5 listening to blur and other artists, never ever thought that to this day Damon would continue creating amazing masterpieces like these
Some would say he's listened by older people, but most of us are in our 20s 😅 I'm proud of we all! and there's younger generations starting knowing all Damon's fantastic work. Our support will always be here for him 💚
Amen to that!
Yes lol
Who says that? Sure, people who listened to him while he was in Blur are like 35 now, but that's still not really old, and we all know he acquired a whole new audience with the success of the last few Gorillaz albums. I'd argue that most of his fans are tenegaers no matter what part of his career you look at because those are the people most willing to be absorbed by the experience of his music
You are so right....
I'm 56
My three sons are in their 20's...
We both Love the man 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽😀😀😀
lol my dad and I love him, my dad's around 60 and I'm currently still in high school. Damon can be appreciated by everyone.
He is so beautiful. All of him. He is cosmic, full, entire.
it will be a sad day when he leaves this planet x
I love how he always sticks his voice to the musical arrangement in such a loose way, like he's not just going side by side with the music, he's reading a love letter, paying tribute to it. 🎺🗯
The first time I heard this song was during Damon's performance at 'MIF' (Manchester International Festival) on July 12th of this year. It was the first concert/festival I had attended by myself. On the day of the said concert, I had travelled 4 hours from London to Manchester, so I was initially tired. However, as we neared the performance, the tiredness I once felt seemed to dissolve, replaced with an exceeding eagerness. So much so that I convinced my cousin and best friend to be at the venue an hour early. Of course, my enthusiasm had got the better of me as we were there too early, forced to sit in the deafening silence of the hall, waiting.
I remember feeling an odd mix of nervousness and impatience, yearning for what was to come, keen to see Damon. The masses came pilling in, and the show began to start. There he was. The lights dimmed, the fog machine turned on, the ambience thick. Then, the music. A surge of adrenaline washed over me, intertwining with my very person, coursing through my veins in a flurry of emotion. The feeling, so real I could almost taste it. And it tasted sweet, like nectar, sent from the Gods. I indulged in it.
My eyes were glued to the screen, unmoving as I took it all in. The musicians bathed in the blazing light, making them look almost ethereal as they poured out their hearts and showcased their talents. It was surreal. I felt effervescent. It was almost as if the pure awesomeness of the music had a bubbling physicality to it. My ears adapted a volcanic like quality, erupting from the magnificence of the sound.
It was, most undeniably, one of the most monumental moments of my life. A memory that I will cherish forever. Even now, when I close my eyes, I can picture it all in its breathtaking glory.
Honestly beautiful. I don’t know how, but this manages to feel both modern and nostalgic at the same time. Everything being put out recently is consistently unique, and I’m enjoying it immensely.
True🎼🎶😍🌺♥️💘
This is the kind of music that makes you smile calmly through the whole thing
YOU SAVED MY LIFE

Happy Birthday ! Enjoy this present haha
Joyeux anniversaire 🥳🥳🥳
Damon, you have been a massive part of my life. Similar age, grew up in the same era and area you are fast becoming the new Bowie. This is absolutely tremendous.
GRANDE DAMON!
Free of the shackles of record company interference and demands for main stream popularity, in Damon Albarn we have one of the truly great creatives of our time. Music as art. Can't wait to see him an MIF next week.
Always so expressive, so profound and unique. Thanks Damon for making our days better days.
He's a genius!!
Damon Albarn is underrated.
Since the 'Everyday Robots' album has helped me through a pretty rough time a few years ago, I'm so excited for a new chapter/ his new Album.
It's so nostalgic for me to listen to, even tho this is a new song. ❤️

@@eugenecooper6395 oh, thanks
Agree with the Pink Phantom, Damon Albarn is the greatest composer of his generation. This song is so beautiful, love the contradictions and paradoxes. Polaris.... I point myself towards the north star in the knowledge i'll never get there.
This version is so much better than the album version!
Damon's voice is getting better and deeper
Everytime I'm sad I come to watch this performance and it never fails to make me happy
Can’t keep up with all your music projects 😂
Got to have more albums than Bowie and the Beatles
Good song this 🍻
Waiting you in a Parklive 2022 in Moscow. Love you Damon.
Wow mister Albarn what a great song you've made.
The most brilliant, insightful song of 2021.
Just how fantastic is this..!! To watch someone really be taken away by the music is nothing less than an ABRACADABRA moment; and thankfully enough, watching Damon perform anything; you’re/me are unbelievably lucky to witness it every time. Music is classless, if your ear likes it, it likes it. I’m 53, and I can’t tell you why I’ve only just started listening to his music, I just have: AND it’s monumentally BRILLIANT..!!
Dude, awesome, Damon nailed with this version of Polaris, really different in comparison from the original played in boiler room. I preferred the tone of the original, more calmed and sublime but either way I love this too, more happy and high but using the base of the original. Really good and I can't wait to hear the others.
(Pd: sorry for my bad English)
This is going to be a very empathic fundamental album.. by the lovely Damon Albarn!

Che dire...imbarazzante dire ci sei sempre Damon. "Sei sul pezzo'" come dicono a Roma. Aggiungo infinito sei tu e la tua Squadra ✨quanta bellezza. Grazie 💚
Another masterpiece of the inmense genius.

✨🌈🦍❤️🎹Damon Album's performance music video, ✨🌈🎥polaris, has been released. I enjoyed watching it very much. I was happy to see ✨🌈❤️🦍👬👭🌈✨Damon and everyone playing in a circle so that they could connect happily. I think Damon values communication, connections, and bonds with his bandmates and fans at concerts by ✨🌈🦍❤️gorillaz and ✨🌈🇬🇧blur. I have a lot of respect for that part of being human. A healing song polaris that seems to bring a happy and bright future. ✨🌈❤️Damon's gentle singing voice and piano performance were also wonderful. I owe my latest revelation to the Current (Alternative music) radio station in Minneapolis for playing this incredible track. Kudos Damon for composing such a wonderful piece. Your innovation, creativity, and willingness to combine different sounds takes heart and courage. The strings and sax in particular made my thinning hair stand up. Cheers mate!!
I smiled all the way through. Beautiful.
More talent in that mullet than any Sailor Twifts out there.
Coming back to this thinking ... probably Tony Allen meant to be there playing those drums ... =(
how to be forever young....❤
This is the most beautiful song DB has written since ‘Out of time’, which was the most beautiful song he had written since ‘This is a low’, which was the most beautiful song he had written since ‘Young and lovely’.
I’ve listened to the Boiler Room performance so often and absolutely love it. It’s interesting to see how the piece evolved.
Le meilleur artiste de tous les temps!!😍
