Originally intended as an orchestral piece inspired by the landscapes of Iceland, this last year has seen a return to the music in lockdown and develop the work to 11 tracks. Further exploring themes of fragility, loss, emergence and rebirth.

I must apologize to all to Damon and his fans. I (living in the back woods of Ohio USA, although was on the Est Coast up until 1995)) had never heard of Blur, Gorillaz, or Damon. Can across Sister Rust in the film Lucy (also my 2nd daughter's name) and really liked it. Some how exploring from there I found Everyday Robots, which fit so nicely in the envelope and atmosphere I am in in now.. Either that or I fit into it! So glad to have found the music. It is beautiful and for that I give thanks. It is very good dog walking music, and please don't get me wrong, that is one of the highest bits of praise I give these day. Kind of like the sixth star on a scale of 1 to 5.
This touches my soul in some kind of special way.

I think this is the prettiest song you've ever written Damon. It's a great body of work your recent project. Polaris is superb but this, it's incredibly emotional. The orchestral part is really quite wonderful, the balance is perfect!
