crimson lord... Why couldn't you see the power you craved was in the bonds you had built. Decrying his lack of strength while getting beaten by three people he helped grow. It got to me a little bit with this track.

Don't you mean Char from Gundam? I heard in the Japanese version the person who voice Char voice Crimson lord and Amuro voice actor voice Diablo in this game. Funny how he blamed the Crimon lord for the death of his sister and Drake. Similar like the death of Lalah. Whole battle screamed of Amuro vs. Char and it was deep! It made the whole battle MUCH DEEPER knowing that.
Their battle and rivalry was definitely a reference to those characters.

I feel like this game is undeserving of this soundtrack. It should have been so amazing but I was underwhelmed. Still, I love the game for its energy and style.
It was too short.
But better than, say, Mechwarrior 5.

After replaying it, or attempting to at least, I’m inclined to agree.
Even though CL has low laser resistances, the Black Lotus still makes him incredibly tanky. To me this fight boiled down to following Diablo and shooting him until I ran out of ammo, then switching to a laser blade.
The games story was very lackluster and the fight this plays during doesn't really earn a soundtrack like this. The one thing I really hope for in the sequel is a much smaller scale story. Focused more on conflicts between the companies and characters rather a grandiose plot.
