I'm obviously no cop, but if that shield she carried was able to stop 5.56 rounds, shouldn't she have positioned herself BETWEEN the door and her fellow officers? If so, she may have been able to save them all. I noticed that when shots rang out, she immediately backed away. Which I realize would be a natural reaction, to save herself. But unless I'm missing something, and I'm right about that shield, she possibly made a huge tactical mistake. If for nothing else, to get that shield in front of her to shield herself. It's a tragedy no matter what, and I feel sorry for that officer's family. He seemed to be a good dude.
Yes. Most Police have some military experience and many I would say have untreated PTSD. Like Roy Oliver, a Texas PD who used his AR15 to put 5 shots in 0.9 seconds into a car moving away from him killing an innocent teenage passenger. Roy Oliver never left Afghanistan.

Something that needs to be expressed, especially with the stigma that’s already placed upon mental health issues! That stigma and the insults as well as discrimination and provider abuse is what stops many individuals from seeking the help they deserve and need! Also not everyone who is labeled as mentally ill is capable of doing something so tragic like this! Like personally myself, my mental health issues are from trauma from long term psychological abuse and being sexually assaulted as a 6 year girl then again as an adult being a human trafficking victim! So the paranoia is not something that just showed up randomly and I felt it was fun to live in survivor mode! Also for me, knowing what it’s like to be in so much pain, as abuse and discrimination leaves behind a pain that no words can describe and it’s something that forever changes who you used to be! And for most individuals it makes you very uncomfortable in your own skin as it’s very confusing and complex! I instead desire to reach individuals that have experienced something similar as myself as I might not have all the answers, none of us do that’s the nature of life! However I have a lot of experience in how not to handle it process it and react to it as the way I’ve coped with it over the years was the worst ways and it made a lot of the pain and heartbreaking issues worse and I don’t want anyone else to have to live with that and waist so much time like I did! And to understand that self love is far more liberating and fulfilling compared to the desire of your abuser caring cause they never will! You must release that to ease that pain and trauma…. That’s all, I’m glad everyone was okay! Thankfully cause that’s a real wild situation as the public needs to fully realize they are still human! And every officer there that night! They now live with mental health issues with mental anguish and emotional distress… and for the rest of their life certain events will be triggers and it’s difficult to process and figure out how to cope! The most important thing is become fully self aware…

@@speahlo4471 Aight you pissed me off,
Something that needs to be expressed, especially with the stigma that’s already placed upon mental health issues!
You seriously had to write the most long ass comment ever made (I'm serious fr)

I’ve never been a big fan of police for personal reasons but respect them and the job they do. Bless those officers and their courage.
What courage?
@@warrenlewis3977 why don't you trying having someone unload an rifle at you when you're trying to help them.
@@SpecialSauce3657 who was the officer trying to help??
@@SpecialSauce3657 they kicked in his door escalated a situation that called for tact and finesse. Ended up killing him. What help?
The officer that tried to help you the most that cared the most you killed him
PTSD isn’t a joke
Nick Mroz and mental health shouldn’t be an excuse
@@Water-7695 the problem is the stigma that comes with mental health. Parents dont want to admit their child has mental issues, which leads them to not being looked after properly. Then shootings like this happen.
No help..very sad
Why is not a joke
@@Water-7695 but the cops brought this on themselves, they nobody to blame
Wow this is horrible, a sheriff's officer goes out to take a call and dies on the shift. My condolences go out to the family. 🙏
@anonymous please tell me you're joking? That's probably the dumbest thing I've seen someone say on this website...
@anonymous you got to be joking because if you're not that's messed up
anonymous lol I’m sure you haven’t seen the crime rate spike in Minneapolis since they abolished their police, and are now saying that people should bow down to the criminals. You are part of the problem and why America is doomed
anonymous well let me be the first to tell you that everything you said is false. Remember when people tried to block themselves off from police and run society by themselves? Yeah chop is the exact reason why “social workers” would never work. Also only 18 unarmed black people were killed last year, less than the total amount of unarmed white people so please check your facts before you spew some liberal media my way
@anonymous why ohhhh why do you exist.
I can't believe they stood in front that door like that
Anybody know where Part 2 is?? I can’t find it.
