Thank you so much! It's funny you say that, because I don't think of myself as ever "doing voices". I think about who the character is, where they're coming from, what they're feeling, and then I try to express myself as them. When I come back to play a character again a second time, I can tell that I've established a distinct... sort of vocal pattern? for some of them. But it never starts with me trying to come up with a "voice". So hearing a comment like this makes me feel really good, like what I'm doing is working. Thank you, I really appreciate it. ❤️

From this human's point of view, if this alien's wondering what makes us such great partners, all I can say is...beats me. 20+ years of social media have only made it more difficult for me to understand how we can be around each other long enough to progress beyond friendship, let alone keep reproducing as often as we do. Then again, I wonder what she'd make of it if she also knew how often humans have fantasized about taking nonhuman partners in our various kinds of fiction.

It's interesting how one simple idea can generate many different thoughts.
"What if aliens find humans to be impeccably beautiful and incredibly attractive?"
To be honest, before listening to this series, such an idea did not occur to me. Aliens can have a variety of motives and goals. But aliens for whom our whole species is so perfectly beautiful? This is interesting.
How will it affect us and how will it affect them? Why is this even possible? And what could be the real reason for this? Were humans created that way on purpose, and if so, by whom and for what purpose?
Her words prompted me to a funny theory that all of humanity is such a weapon aimed at these aliens. Weapon of love and attraction. They will become so obsessed with our beauty that their population will decrease over time. And perhaps human greed will have a detrimental effect on them.
Many other theories can be devised.
And although everything here at first glance is sweet and wonderful, one thought stuck like a splinter in the brain.
In the first part, we learned about how she was abandoned for the beauty of a human. And now she herself chooses us mainly because of our appearance. She certainly doesn't do anything wrong because she doesn't leave someone for an affair with a beautiful human, she was the one who was left behind. So it's hard to compare. But still.
Although you can look at it from the other side. We learned that polyamorous relationships are normal in their society. But her ex just left her. But our scientist in love is instead considering bringing us all together. That is, I assume that if it was she who first met a human, then instead of leaving her partner, she would offer to create a large family. So it's not just the attractiveness of humanity, but the fact that there were problems in their relationship anyway.
Personally, I'm not at all interested in polyamorous things. So if I was in a listener situation it would be a bit of a red flag for me. But although I do not want this for myself, I am in no way judging other people. Everyone chooses for himself what suits him and this is normal. It is normal if people agree on such things at the very beginning and keep their word.

Isn't it interesting that the idea of attractive aliens out there in the universe isn't a new one at all - just think about Star Trek and Jim Kirk and all the pretty alien women he met - but we don't really think about the possibility of us being the attractive ones? The reversal makes this a really interesting script, I think. The potential hypocrisy in our speaker's actions is also interesting. She seems to view it as a positive, as growth, as opening her mind, but if it really doesn't go beyond the physical, is that really a good change? I honestly didn't think of it that way until you pointed it out.
I hope that, if there's another chapter to this, it won't shoehorn the path into a poly relationship. Options would be nice, or leaving it ambiguous what the listener chose, maybe. I have no idea what's coming, though!

Indeed, taking popular situations and reversing them can be very interesting.
And in this case, it's an interesting topic. We are often taught that we should be humble and not engage in narcissism and self-aggrandizement. But it turns out that humanity does not love itself if it is difficult for people to imagine themselves attractive to other species. Although modesty and humility are very good qualities that adorn a person, I believe that self-love and self-respect are also incredibly important.
I also don't want it to go the poly relationship route. I also don't really like "harem" stories, although the comedic variations are funny sometimes. On the other hand, they are just stories. And sometimes I like a story even if there are things in it that I usually don't like. I certainly have my preferences, but I try to be open minded when it comes to creativity and art. But we'll see what the writer has in store for us in the future if this story has a sequel.
It's not the first time I've seen this script writer's name in the description below the video. And these are always interesting stories. It feels like someone with a talent for writing real books decided to write scripts for role-playing audio. At least that's the impression I got.
Self-love and self-respect are so important and so hard to learn. I think it's sad that our world all too often tears others down rather than building them up. And I know how naive this sounds, really I do, but that's part of why I do what I do here. Because everyone needs and deserves a warm voice sometimes to tell them that they're special. I know it's not very much, but maybe that can be just enough of a boost for someone to-I don't know. Take even a small step closer to loving themself. I'm only one person with a microphone, but it'd be nice if I could make even a little bit of a difference with that.
Anyway. I've only communicated with Waterway the Wordsmith a few times, but I have mad respect for their writing skills, and I definitely want to record more of their work in the future, so that's something to look forward to! Thank you again for your comment.

It may be naive, but I personally believe that this will at least help someone get through a difficult period in life or take their minds off dark thoughts. I think a little kindness even in this form can be a support for someone.

Okay, yes, you're right, it's an audio editing mistake. I do make them, and I will continue to make them, especially since I get so complex with my soundscapes and there's a lot to keep track of. So please have some patience with me. ❤️
