Until the perfect number divisible by every number from 1 to 10.
The way he explained that was just amazing. I didn't even know that:
1) For a number to be divisible by 3 the digits have to add up to a multiple of 3
2) For a number to be divisible by 4 the last 2 digits have to be divisible by 4
3) For a number to be divisible by 8 the last 3 digits should be divisible by 8
*Question: what is 1x1?*
A:1 B:420 C:69 D: your Mom
“Alright so, I know for a fact that 1x1 is 1 and none of the other options make sense. But I’m just gonna go through every number and letter in the alphabet just to make sure.”
Jeez i was not the only one that bothered that much by that hahaha
honestly he has 1 million on the line so unless you would just throw it out there until you were completely sure, for example, what if you had read the 1 wrong? what if it was B instead of A? then you would be fuckedc
Hahahhahahaha that no. was easily divisible by 7 though
lol. That was also my first reaction. Like the first question for 500$, just answer water. No, they will try each option first. In Indian version of millionaire, people will just straight away tell the answer. Only after winning 12-13 level, they will start to think about other options.
He was literally required to explain his thinking process out loud otherwise it would be super boring just to watch him stand their and think.
I’m 16 years old let me just do the math to make sure. Ok I was born in 2002 and it’s 2018 now. 2018-2002= 16. Ok so I got 16 but let me just make sure by counting all of the years I’ve been alive for.

That 20k question was pretty interesting, I won't lie. I knew from the get-go that 5040 was divisible by 1 through 7 due to 7! = 5040, but I didn't know it was also ideal! Wouldn't that also make 7! the first ideal factorial? Pretty interesting stuff ngl
If with ideal you mean divisible by all integers between (including) 1 and 10 then yes, it would be the first ideal factorial. Interestingly it is not the first perfect number according to the rule set by Plato. That would be 2520.
You can solve it even easier: If the number is divisible by all numbers between 1 and 10, it must be divisible by 9. Thus, according to the divisibility rules, its digit sum must be divisible by 9. Since neither A's nor B's nor D's digit sum is divisible by 9, it must already be C.
@@ThexXTURBOXx I actually went the opposite way when the question popped up and tried to calculate the smallest ideal number by dividing the numbers from 1 to 10 into their prime factors and then multiplying those. So 5*2 for 10, also covering 2 and 5, *3*3 for 9, also covering 3, *2*2 with the 2 from ten for 8, also covering 4 and *7. So the smallest ideal number I could come up with would be 2*2*2*3*3*5*7 which is 2520 and then I just looked for that number or any multiple of that. I didn't know any of the divisibility rules I'll admit although the numbers weren't that hard to check for divisibility if I'm honest. :P
Yeah I did it like that
Lol! I just divide all 4 options with 3,6 and 7. Got the answer under 2 mins. And yes, without the calculator.

Wow, this youngster is really bright. Well done, young man. You deserve the 50.000.
For 10:51 question, here is a better, more ideal way to solve it.
1) Using divisibility of 3 rule (digits add up to a multiple of 3), you can eliminate A, since it adds up to 17, which is not a multiple of 3.
2) Using divisibility of 4 rule (last two digits are multiple of 4), you can eliminate B and D, since their last two digits, 50 and 70, are not multiples of 4.
3) C is the only answer left; it must be the answer.
I am not sure why he overcomplicated it so much xD
Silverdragon246 multiply 7 by 700 you get 4900 there’s 42 left so 42 divides by 7 is 6 so it’s 5040

Question: "how many sides does a triangle have?"
"Whiz Kid": "So... I know that, 'tri' is from the Latin root that means three, and since Latin makes up the 5 main romance langues, romance being what they call it because it was spoken in the Roman Empire, one of them being French. and although English is a Germanic language it had influences of French so given that 'triangle' is an English word I will assume that it makes sense to see a roman root word in this word. Since angle comes from the Latin 'angulus' I will say tri-angle means 3 angles and if a shape has 3 angles it must have 3 sides based off my calculations... hmm 3 sides final answer...
