    Dr. Alex Zhavoronkov is the founder and CEO of Insilico Medicine, a leader in the next-generation artificial intelligence for drug discovery, biomarker development, and aging research. Prior to Insilico, he worked in senior roles at ATI Technologies, NeuroG Neuroinformatics, the Biogerontology Research Foundation and YLabs.AI. Since 2012 he published over 130 peer-reviewed research papers and 2 books. For six years in a row, he has organized the annual Aging Research for Drug Discovery and Artificial Intelligence for Healthcare forums at Basel Life/EMBO in Basel. Alex is an adjunct professor at the Buck Institute for Research on Aging.

    Artificial intelligence drugs was on me it tells a lot about my brain has been damaged am I thinking ability it was placed in my Depakote and Other Drugs in Virginia I was up test I had no knowledge of this test being conducted on me use your company and other companies know a lot about the brain a very now my brain functions they know very very much about it now I'm in a program in Virginia for this medicine it actually saved my life would have done for me but I have no knowledge of this test being done on me I expect to get paid something for being a guinea pig whatever company done this to me and I will let the research continue as long as it's safe . I will talk to my doctor Monday

    How many drug are been discovered using AI?

      Numerous examples are in the early discovery/preclinical stage and fewer examples are in 1-2 phase clinical trials. But there is not yet a single FDA-approved small molecule/biologic discovered by AI. First examples of FDA approvals will most probably arrive by 2021-2023.       @@newoneize The field is only a few years older than this video. Hardly surprising. Especially considering that it might take over twice the entire period since this video was posted to develop ONE drug, and even then it very likely won't work.
