    Just started playing with this string. Amazing so far! Preferred over hyper G. Little bit more arm friendly, bit more control.

    I have played a ton with Hyper G in many different racquets, and Lynx Tour is very close indeed. Doesn't quite have the bite, but on the flipside is more predictable than Hyper G. Also a better feel, not as plastic-y.

    Nice review, Jonas! I do play the Lynx Tour with my T-Fight xtc 295, strung 10% below my average level. This is working great to me. Armfrendly, good mix of spin, Power and control. It even makes for fun to play fast rallys...and still tension los is very low. My prefered set-up currently 👍

      Lynn Tour is heavier and thus bumps up the swing wheight a bit more than confidential. I find them to play quite close, confidential is a bit crisper with slightly better spin and lynx tour possibly with slightly better touch and control. But i guess these parameters could Change depending on gauge and tension. Both great strings in a Head Extreme Tour!

    I just tried this string in the mains at 55lbs in my 2020 Yonex Ezone 98 16x19 with TF Synth gut in the crosses at 55lbs.
    I really enjoyed this string and balls were going where I wanted them and was predictable with good control and spin. Gonna see how long it plays now until it needs cutting out.

    I hit with this for 2 weeks in my VCP97 and While i liked it at first, after 5 days of hitting I started to dislike it and cut it out after 2 weeks. I didn't get near enough spin out of it after the first couple of hours and the feel was a little on the mushy side. Wasn't horrible but will not buy again.

    • @Tennisnerd

    How does lynx tour compare to lynx edge as both are shaped ?

    • @jugheadfla
      @jugheadfla Před 3 lety

      I have been using lynx edge up until recently when I tried Lynx Tour and now I have permanently switch to tour. Lynx edge is a little to soft for me so the control was not as good and it tended to get launchy even off of the stringer. Lynx Tour had far more control than edge and its crisp but very comfortable. I think edge has more sides than tour but I didn't notice that much difference in spin, they are very comparable in the aspect.

    • @Tennisnerd
      @Tennisnerd  Před 4 lety +1

      Alu Power is a bit less spin-friendly, but gives a bit more control.
      Hyper-G is quite similar, a bit more spin, but a tad stiffer though. Holds tension better than the others.
      Cyclone is also quite close, good control, feels a bit stiffer to me and loses tension pretty quickly.
      I would put Lynx Tour the closest to Hyper-G.
      I like all of the strings, but probably Hyper-G and Lynx Tour the best.
