Which makes the best coffee?
like almost everything in that hobby - it depends :)
adding 60 grams of coffee in aeropress, you can prepare a compressed version, adding water later (1 liter in total)
Nice, succinct comparison of both methods. Keep it up. Which method do you think produces more sweets and chocolate notes?
Immersion style brew (aeropress, French press) would tend to highly deeper flavors, like nuts and chocolate.
Also depends on the recipees you use. With my current mexican nougat/chocolaty coffee i love to use the V60 with the april recipe. It gets me a tastier cup than I managed to achieve with quite a few different aeropress recipes
I have a v60 once you get it right the coffee is mind blowing outta it if you get a good bag of beans and grind them fresh but it’s very easy to over do the water and make a bad one but when it’s right it’s hard to beat but I intend to get an aero press as well
It's taken me almost 2 months to dial it in. I use it at work so no scale & no gooseneck. I use a teaspoon to reduce the flow by placing it at the spout.
As you mentioned using to much water is the issue. Only thing I can suggest is to mark your cup and remove the v60 once at that level.
@@Gunzee I have got to grips it well now and no where to stop I've got an aeropress now as well and it's hard to choose between it and a v60. V60 is better for a large cup the aeropress is a smaller cup
great brewing! would love to have aeropress one day
You should!
Why not buy one then…..
