I just finished my first Playthrough of Bloodborne...
Such a fantasic game.
Congrats on beating the game, I can't agree more!
+theDeModcracy notice me plz
+theDeModcracy I know this might make me a noob but I'm new to bloodborne and just wanted to know what katana looking sword you were using
I used the Chikage throughout the majority of this video. You can buy it from the messengers in the Hunter's Dream after defeating the boss of Castle Cainhurst.
+Ciscion XD i believe its the chikage, super awsome...just made a new build to use it
This game occupies a large space in my blood-pumping organ
Nice lmao
Heart or Dick?
BLOOD
How many vials does that attatchment allow you to hold
I know super old video, but my list:
1. Fishing Hamlet
2. Hunter's Nightmare
3. Central Yharnam
4. Research Hall
5. Cainhurst
6. Upper Cathedral Ward
7. Cathedral Ward
8. Mergo's Loft
8. Hypogean Gaol
9. Byrgenwerth
10. Hemwick Charnel Lane
I really like that list man. Hunters nightmare was amazing with that beautiful but disturbing river of blood. I'd swap old yarnham and the forbidden woods for bergenworth and hemwick personally.
DKOdonny have to agree my favorite area is also fishing hamlet
@@MesoMania i fucking hate fishing hamlet those damn sharks gave me aids
Every time I read HP's the shadow over Innsmouth I think of fishing hammlet :)
I agree with you more
I can't get enough of this masterpiece. I got the platinum yet I want To play more. is something wrong with me?
well theres always the infinite new game pluses
Pale Ronin no
Yes. That you are questioning if it is wrong to play this masterpiece over and over again.
That sequel can't come soon enough.
@@roberteli5235 I wonder, will it be a sequel, a prequel or non kind of like Dark Souls2.
Am I the only one slightly disappointed with Castle Cainhurst? It's visually great, and distinctive within the game. It has a fantastic boss and the hidden covenant is a nice touch. It evokes feelings of Dark Souls's decrepit castle. But the enemies are such a letdown. We could have had vampire knights, but we get ghosts and giant ticks that don't seem to have any connection to the area or any of the beast/alien stuff from the game.
The little worms are the worst
Actually both the ghosts and the ticks are connected to the area. I do agree with you, I would've preferred anything else, but i'm just clarifying.
The ghosts are of nobles who the executioners slaughtered in the raid. The giant ticks name is BloodLicker. After the raid on Cainhurst there were at least several hundred dead people, leading up to the Bloodlickers running over to drink that shit up.
An interesting fact on the BloodLickers, in Cainhurst they're stomachs are quite small. Hinting at they drank all the blood a long time ago and are starting to starve. In the hunters nightmare where blood is plentiful the Bloodlickers are fat as hell.
Derpy Sandwich
And that is lorewise a good thing, but doesn't change that they are disappointing enemies
Derpy Sandwich
I knew that about the ghosts, but thanks for the bloodlicker explanation. But as you said, sill not great. I forgot to mention the little fencing dwarfs and gargoyles, which were alright. But ridiculously easy. The area is mid-to-late game and hidden, but it's easier than most areas in the game. I was amazed when I discovered it, but a bit underwhelmed by how quickly I got through it by the end. But more than anything, I wanted to fight vampire knights! They would fit the aesthetic and lore of the area perfectly (assuming they wrote around that all Vilebloods are supposed to be dead... they could be resurrected by Logarius to defend him or something).
Alejandro Marquez The area is quite shit really. The fact that it's a castle and it's snowing is the only thing going for it.
I think an easier explanation is the ghost one again. Just have ghosts of the vileblood knights.
I didn't think Cainhurst was better than any of the DLC areas. I mean, it looks amazing. Its a giant castlevania looking level. Snow, eerieness, its beautiful. But it really is mostly a straight forward level, filled with 'meh' enemies. I think I wouldve much preferred like knights or demons or creepy beasts instead of Banshees, Gargoyles and Tick Men. It was pretty short too, I thought Id be exploring the entire castle.
Its a cool area, but I think they couldve done so much more with it. The inside parts of the level all felt boring.
I rated it quite low, but not because of the level design, but because of the enemies, mostly the ones before you get in the castle, they are horribly annoying escpecially the little worms
While I do agree that the enemies in the Castle are disappointing in terms of combat, It should also be noted that it's indeed a forsaken Castle, a place left behind, whose inhabitants were supposedly completely slaughtered as Logarius stormed in to annihilate the Vilebloods. All that's left are the weeping phantoms of it's once luxurious and noble court and the faithful servants, whose lives were spared and who remain loyal in their duties, polishing the floors and guarding the corridors of a place which is suposed never to host any of the foul ceremonies that took place there before. So yea... I think the enemies are fitting...
i love Cainhurst because the progression through that area is unlike any other area, it is probably the only area that uses platforming( what little souls has ) to progress, it makes it standout IMO.
WR I think the area is amazing but there are better dlc areas
I honestly agree
Still waiting for top 10 souls series waifu and booties, so I made my own list.
Waifus
1. Lady Maria (duh)
2. Gwynevere (close second)
3. Doll (Oh good hunter)
4. Amygdala (has Amy in the name so it must be female, right?)
5. Firekeeper (ds3)
6. Maiden in black
7. Quelaag
8. Kos (slug bahdi so hot)
9. Nashandra
10. Vicar Amelia
Booties
1. Old Snake
2. Dancer
3. Gwynevere (presumably)
4. Asylum Demon
5. Quelaag (yes spider butt)
6. Bed of Chaos
7. Man-eater boars (woah oh here she comes)
8. Armored boars (duh)
9. Rom
10. Aldricht (wherever it is)
Aldrich is a man
Aldrich *was* a man.
+Miagolio Maxwell he's trans?
UnicornKabob
He's not human. Or animal. Or anything that even has genders.
+UnicornKabob And?
Man I LOVED Old Yharnam, my heart was pounding the entire time and BSB is a great boss. Massive adrenaline rush by the end of that area
Agreed
Where's Yahar'Gul? If you wanna talk about atmospheric, then that certainly is THE most atmospheric area in the game. Going there at night, which means you were a bit under-leveled, gave you a sense of hopelessness as you struggled against intimidating enemies that could easily overpower you, all while a very fantastic chorus set the tone so well. When you revisit the area it's almost like you've stepped through into Hell. The intimidating guardians that once patrolled the place have been killed, replaced by even greater horrors and the inhabitants chant as they try to create a being that can rival a Great One.
its in part 1
Indeed it has amazing lore, but god how I hate this level, haha... It has some pretty twisted enemies and sometimes it's difficulty seems to be really unfair (specially the section with the old women and the laser beam shooting lesser Amygdala...). Even if you know the drill this can be a challenging level. The good part is that it has two huge shortcuts and you can farm Twin Blood Stone Shards and Blood Chunks (with enough Arcane stats) with those things resembling werewolves.
History507 no,the most atmospheric area is byrgenwerth,at least for me
Weenie Slayer as others said it is on the other list but Hypogean Gaol is my favourite area for all the reasons you said. Getting taken there was a moment I won’t soon forget and I go out of my way to get taken there on subsequent playthroughs. It’s terrifying and the moment where you start to question even more about what is going on.
Upper cathedral and yahargul made me realize what kind of game this was
You and Vaati are the best SoulsBorne content creators by far, the community is very fortunate to have you guys. You both highlight why we all love these games so much.
Very nice of you to say Wesley! :)
Do you watch SunlightBlade?
The Confident Gamer love sunlightblade but he highlights the pvp part of the community more. Which is very important but for me I didn't fall in love with these games because of the pvp. It was the bosses and the lore that got me and DeModcracy and Vaati focus on that.
theDeModcracy keep it up man 👍👍
Wesley Crawford
Ok
If fishing hamlet isnt first, I'll be pissed.
Fuck
+Chris Topher sorry :( that areas pretty cool
True I was hoping for this as well. Cainhurst is actually one of my least favorite designed zones... oops.
It reminds me too much of Dark Souls II. Very dense enemy placement that's not very subtle or interesting at all. It's nice to look at, but if I feel the need to skip the area with blue elixirs every time, in my opinion they made a bad area. Interesting to see that most people seem to disagree.
+RedWingsFan920 I thought it carried a lot of similarities to lower Oolacile in the DS1 dlc - dense enemy placement that requires strategy and clever use of the area to overcome.
That is, compared to DS2's "uhh here's a bunch of enemies at once good luck."
Bloodborne is my favourite game of all time and the Research Hall is my favourite are the whole series.
I'm glad to hear i'm not the only one, i feel the same way on both points!
Mine too!
I think I agree. After playing dark souls 3, it was my favorite because it had the best bosses and only a few bad areas (imo). But, after playing Bloodborne again yesterday, I think it's my favorite. I just need to get that dlc.
Ludwig have mercy on this poor soul
The vertical level design in the Research Hall is really awesome
Did you know?
1. Every tutorial boss in bloodsoul were rehash/recreate later on in the game
Vanguard=> More Vanguard
Asylum demon=> two more asylum demon
Last Giant => Giant lord
Cleric Beast=> Laurence
Iudex Gundyr => Champion Gundyr
2. Every fucking game have their own corrupted hero
DeS: Tower Knight
Ds1: Artorias
Ds2: Fume Knight
Bloodborne: Ludwig
Ds3: Abyss Watchers
FEAR THE OLD REHASH
Valley of Defilament was fair and alot better than Blighttown and Blighttown 2.0
The corrupted heroes in Demon's Souls would be Astrea and Vinland and in DS2 the burnt Ivory King
The ridiculous part is that the Asylum demon itself is already a rehash of the Vanguard
+JasonDoe1000 if you read the lore of the tower knight, you should know that the tower knight we were fighting was just a corrupted self of a guy, you can actually find the guy corpse after the fight if i remember correctly. And i think that the fume knight is corrupted as well because he use a demonic sword thing, right?
RenekTONS OF DAMAGE
The tower knight definitly is corrupted, but I personally think that Maiden Astrea is an even better example as she was this pure Maiden who turned into an archdemon after she realized the lies about her god and abandoned her faith
And Raime is not really corrupted, he still kept his sanity as he is able to recognize Velstadt's helmet and reacted to that
Also Raime searched great power in the Brume Tower with which he could save his king, but all he found was Nadalia a woman that became like a mother for him and than he used his new power willingly to protect her remains the Brume tower and the crown of the old King, the man Nadalia was searching for
And the demonic sword is because Nadalia was a part of the Abyss, but this doesn't necessarily means that Raime has to be corrupted
And than again I think that the Ivory King is a better example because his whole story is based upon the fact that the old chaos corrupted him and his knights
Everyone knows this...
The only good rehashed tutorial boss was Champion Gundyr.
10/10 favourite boss in Soulsborne best boss 5 stars
Upper Cathedral Ward is my #1 by far for the reason it so completely encapsulates the lore it brings. It’s super creepy, dark, has the locked away cosmic beings the healing church has kept secret. I legitimately get chills when I think of the way you come across Ebrietas.
Forbidden woods was my favourite. It looked like an elaborate painting and it was the first part I actually got lost. Then I stumbled upon an alien and I lost my shit, I wasn't expecting it at all. Making my way through the woods to fight Rom was a great change up in enemies. It's what won me over out of all the Fromsoft games. Because of that experience I don't think they'll ever top Bloodborne Imo.
Runner up might be getting caught by the tall enemy with the brown burlap sack over his shoulder. Waking up to the chanting in Hypogen gaol was so creepy. Finding the church maiden whimpering in a corner just added more to it too.
I'm playing through BB for the 7th time now, and I still get lost in the Forbidden Woods. Crazy stuff
FFS i hate that snake shit hole! Those fucking snake hatches
I love that area especially because of that, the fact that you can get lost while exploring and that there might be something new to discover even after the third playthrough
For the very same reason I also love the stonefang catacombs and the Valley of Defilament in Demon's Souls
JasonDoe1000 Aha I couldn't stand the Valley of defilement. I always wanted to get through it as quickly as possible. It was all the poison that bothered me. My favourite in Demons's Souls will always be the whole Tower of Latria area. The prison & the area with that giant beating heart chained up in the tower was so unique from the rest of the game. Shame the last two parts were only boss fights with no exploration though.
Playing as a boss online was pretty damn cool too. A bit unfair fighting someone constantly eating shrubs to heal though. I made a profile that was built around healing over time ( I used blessed weapon + regen shield + regen ring & the regen spell) just to play as a boss there.
Pat Bone
Playing as the boss = nice
Playing against someone = horrible
I once had to fight for over 12 minutes against someone, until he was dead and that only because I had luck with parrying and went hyper mode
AAAAAAAAAAAA THE GUY FROM OEDON CHAPEL ASKS TO BE FRENS??? THAT’S SO CUAAAAATT
I guarantee that half of the voters have not even played bloodborne but still voted. I bet they only voted on how cool the areas sounded as well.
i voted on the best area i played through cause i was only half was through the game ;(
+Derpy Squid good luck
I've played the main game, but never got the chance to play the DLC before I had to sell my PS4.
Worry not, I've played through it approximately 17 times now.
lol
I can't disagree on how good castle cainhurst is, but it was a bit short in my opinion
Too short and the boss doesn't really fit that well in my opinion. Logarius seems to be something out of Dark Souls rather than fitting into Bloodborne.
@@jordynozymandias374 Doesn't mean it's bad because BB and DS are, mechanically, very similar. The Demon of Hatred from Sekiro is bad because it feels and acts like a Souls boss in a game that is very different from Souls.
Eh, I don't like it much due to the copy and pasted ghost women.
Took me longer to kill the hunter in byrgwnwyrth than it did to see all of cainhurst 🙄🙄
@@twistedgwazi5727 what? how is the demon of hatred bad? don't let the appearance fool you, it very much does not play like a DS boss; in fact, I'd argue it's the boss that makes the most use of all your movements abilities, as it requires jumping and/or grappling for a lot of attacks. not only that, some attacks are made to be deflected, as they have specific animations for when you do so. just because it looks like a BB or DS boss doesn't mean it plays lile one, in fact it is very much the opposite
DeMod, even though I haven't touched any of my souls games in a couple months, your videos always make me wanna pick them back up- you're editing and effort put into each video is insane, keep it up!
I never get bored of these blood souls rankings. Nice work!
I knew Castle Cainhurst was going to be #1
The lit Green dude easily
Can we plz switch it around, *Cainhurst Castle* THANK YOU
I was surprised. I thought 3)research hall 2) fishing hamlet 1)central Yharnam. Lore, difficulty and a a superb introduction. I do think central Yharnam encapsulates multiple locations in essence. Just my opinion though. To each there own. Happy hunting. Unless u like winter lanterns. Then u are the devil!
Could anyone even consider choosing anything else?
You could set an entire Bloodborne game just in Castle Cainhurst (and maybe some wooded grounds as well). A bitching game would be a prequel where you play as a Vileblood or Executioner during the storming of the castle.
Cathedral Ward is probably my favorite area in the game (I haven't played the DLC yet). It was the only area my first time through where I felt super comfortable in the area in terms of my skill. It's also where I was able to get good at the game. Granted, I finally got alot better at the game in my more recent playthrough but still, I'll always remember finally being able to enjoy Bloodborne in the Cathedral Ward.
Cainhurst is an easy second though
I think Central Yharnam is the area where you get used to the game, but the variety of enemies in Cathedral Ward helps cement it. Both areas are fantastic tutorials for Bloodborne
My second time through I appreciated Central Yharnam alot more, but Bloodborne was my first game in the Bloodsouls franchise, so Central Yharnam kicked my ass more times than I was expecting!
Really love how demodcracy gives the community a voice in his videos, love this channel
Fishing Hamlet is my favorite location. After your intense duel with Lady Maria, the change of setting and tone to the mysterious and dreadful fishing village is awe inspiring!
Man the DLC was a freaking masterpiece.
"grant us eyes" lol
when I first saw them, I called them "swEYEne" LOL
Research Hall was my favorite simply because of Maria and the lore... I was so shocked when i 1st encountered the patients in the room writhing on their beds begging for help, it completely changes the outlook you have on the healing church.
A reason I love Cainhurst so much is that It reminded me of my 1st time storming Anor Londo. Just storming a castle is such a thrill for me in these games.
Last time i was this early, poise was working as intended.
Miyazaki plz
I am also hoping for top music in bloodsouls
Another great video! I love your editing.
I have watched almost all your vids on BLADSOLS and haven't commented so far. But now I must say, your voice, is very pleasant to listen to.
Let's be honest, people only rated Research Hall high for Lady Maria
Last time I was this early, "insert copy paste joke here."
OR
FIRST!!!
God damn these comments are cancer.
The research hall has the atmosphere of Tower of latria, the sense of progression of the dukes archives, big lore ties to almost everything in the game and an amazing boss. Im surprised it wasnt number 1 tbh.
Very good video, I think everyone can feel your enthusiasm and love for the blood/soul series. These videos are a joy to watch keep it up!
Glad my love for the series comes across well and thanks for the kind words Supreme!
6:35 lol
"This is a last area that's really good for SOUL farming" GG lol good vid tho per usual :3
Great video as always. Was really looking forward to it, and it didn't disappoint. It surprised me quite a bit though. Was dead sure hunters nightmare was gonna be nr.1... Anyways, thank you for always putting out great content
Honestly this plus the lore videos of Vaatividya make me so hyped to play this game. Knowing lots about the game but nothing about the actual playing of the game makes me want to buy a Ps4 this Christmas. I would just like to say thank you so much for the videos. They are really well done and very entertaining. I hope you have a very nice day.
the sh*t whales have to be the same as the crocodile/dog/undead creature things in dark souls 3
hit the crocs on the snout while they are charging= guaranteed riposte
i know about that but how aggressive they are and how those guys have a room holding two of them along with other stuff
Gary Morrison
yeah that room sucks. i usually lure one of them to the ladder and then plunge attack its nose xD
For me, the Fish Trolls are much much MUCH harder than the Crocodile Beasts in Dark Souls 3. Even the room that has two of them is not that hard, since one of them aggroes you before the other one, hence you're able to fight them one by one. I cleared that room on my third try, and never got ganked by both enemies at the same time.
In Bloodborne tho, the encounter with the two Fish Trolls is GUARANTEED, since the one hanging from the ceiling is invulnerable until the other one summons him for help. The only thing you can do is stab one of them with a Shaman Bone Blade and let them duke it out, and good luck trying to stab one of those things with that slow ass blade. The one using an anchor will destroy the unarmed one, even tho the anchor troll is pretty damn hurt once he starts fighting. What makes that enemy so frustrating is its attack patterns. No matter how much i play Bloodborne (and trust me, i've played it A LOT), i ALWAYS get hit by that thing's moveset. Wide attacks that hit like a fucking track, are not that slow, crazy combos and a massive health pool. That 1v2 encounter could be consider a boss in itself.
The thing is that the Shitwhales (for some reason...) can be gunparried
I feel like Cainhurst didn't deserve that spot.
I remember the first time I played Bloodborne, I was having so much fun the entire way through that it seemed like no time had passed when I defeated Mergo's Wet Nurse and realized that I was at the endgame. I've been playing video games since I was 3 and I can count in one hand how many times I've wholeheartedly thought to myself "I don't want this to end yet" and Bloodborne is the first to do in a really, really long time. So when I was researching what else I could do to prolong my adventure, imagine my wonder when I realized I hadn't even set foot in an entire area, this being Cainhurst Castle. I don't know if I personally find it to be my favorite area in the game, but I can definitely say that I will always remember that amazing feeling I had when I realized it wasn't over yet. Then after taking down Gherman, I proceeded to cleanse the foul streets of Yharnam all over again.
I agree wholeheartedly. There's a certain bittersweet feeling some games leave you with. The end of the journey may be beautiful, but having it occur makes you crave more. Glad you still had Cainhurst left to conquer!
I believe part of why the Research Hall is so high is Maria, such an unbelievably cinematic boss
Is it me or does this game look far better graphically than DS3?
It's shorter and more shadowy than DS3, which is also a multiplatform game (not an insult to Xbox, it's just that multiplatforms are not optimized for a console). So yea, it might actually look better than DS3. However, the latter is also stunning.
DS3 looks alot better. On PC especially
I 100% agree
Perhaps not graphically, but the art style is far better
Not just you. DS3 looks pretty but it's muddied by that bland, washed out color scheme the entire game. Bloodborne is much more tonally aesthetically consistent as well.
No one cares how early you are.
Well that escalated quickly.
me too
Don't worry everyone, you will all get a turn when you least expect it.
+Dead Rabbit eh... It's just speculation...
WantedGrunt i do
I love these bloodsouls videos. it's always fun to see where I agree and disagree with others in the community and what they have to say about everything.
I hope you try to do rankings like this with other game series! As always, great job and keep it up!
I'm glad you enjoy getting the communities perspective on things, I do too! Keep an eye out for that new series I mentioned ;)
Your Top Ten vids were a deciding factor when I was thinking about purchasing Bloodborne a few weeks ago. Needless to say, a game that used to intimidate me due to its reputation, has cemented itself as one of my favorite series. I'm saving up to purchase the Old Hunters dlc and dark souls 1 remaster. Your videos are really concise and entertaining and I'm bingeing them since I'm currently getting my ass handed to me by the shadows of yharnam...
The Shadows are the first really big pain in the game! Make use of the gravestones to split their attention for a easier time
i really miss Bloodborne... And i hate myself for being one of those people who cant replay a game over and over.
I can't play most games over and over, but Bloodborne I've probably done about 7-8 full playthroughs or into the 15+ if you count NG+. I love this game so damn much
jeez, i only played it twice, one female and one male. And it is still one of my favorite games ever. andto be honest i think its better than every souls game.
@@oliverkronborg6372 its so funny when everyone knows the soulsborne series starts to get good at ng+, in ds3 theres a bosssword you can only get on your third playthrough, just do it, try different playstyles and dont just stick to one weapon, thats boring, you people are boring
@@lp.shakur the first playthrougth is always the best.
Do you have the Platinum trophy for Bloodborne? Atm im trying to beat Amygdala in the fucking defiled chalice dungeon... that's so fucking hard!
I do on my personal account. A lot of people struggle with Defiled Amygdala, but I struggled waaaaay more with Defiled Watchdog. For Amygdala, you have to play it extremely patient and wait for windows to attack the arms. Just stay locked on from afar and wait your chance. At 30%, start hiding under the tail and wacking at the legs. If you stand where the tail is when Amy jumps, his head will land where you are standing and you can get good shots in.
+theDeModcracy Thanks! I'll give that a try... i had extreme struggles with the watchdog 2 but after an hour or so i defeated him. I've tried amy for 2 hours or so and i always got her to half life. I want that trophy i LOVE Bloodborne! I've finished it several times!
Try Erbrietas in a defiled chalice dungeon. Way harder!
+Rickard Dahl Isn't Ebrietas in the Isz Chalice Dungeon? Thats not a defiled one
Cb_182
Ah, cursed might be the right word. Cursed chalices give 50% health reduction. And in the case of the Cursed Isz chalices you for instance can meet ayy-lmao or Ebrietas as the end boss. And if you meet Ebrietas at 50% health, well, prepare to cry.
I would have to say that Hunter's nightmare is my favorite. It has great aesthetic design and fighting the old hunters is so fun. And it has two of my favorite bosses, Laruence and especially Ludwig.
The research hall is truly terrifying. Because its so close to reality. It's a whole establishment based on the cruel torture and experimentation if innocent people. As I grabbed the torch and found all the bodies of the people begging Me to kill them. And being attacked by headless or oversized head enemies. I felt uncomfortable and I loved it
Ranking the souls series npc's?
Sickly spider waifu #1!
SUNLIGHT FOR LIFE! 420PraiseIT
Why does everyone have such a boner for Cainhurst? I will never understand everyone's obsession with it. (League > Vialblood, in my opinion)
It's because of the beautiful scenery and the lore behind it, and it's where some of the most beloved weapons in the game.
I guess that's where I don't get it, I'll agree that the scenery is nice, but the vialblood story is something I never really got into, and I never really liked bloodtinge wepons.
Chris Wheatley it’s this games version of new Londo ruins. Hundreds of people were murdered to prevent the spread of the vilebloods and one of the most famous characters had relegated himself to guarding the queen to prevent her return. It’s a neat side story
Dude thanks for the guidance. Started playing and this helped a lot.
Couldn't wait for this video :) Great work as always and I'm hyped for the Demon's Souls list -.-
Sorry for the long wait! I'm back from vacation so videos will come out more frequently from here on out. :)
theDeModcracy It's okay :) You had a lot on your plate, if your happy, I'm happy :D
Cainhurst is objectively not the best area
I don’t think you know what that word means
I believe that bloodborne doesnt have the respect it needs.Dark souls community doesnt like bloodborne cuze its like different than dark souls.I would like to see bloodborne 2 even tho i think it wont happen :/
its more because it was released on ps4 so half of the dark souls fans never got to play it
Source? If thats true i will be so disappointed. (if you talk about that shadow dies twice, its not confirmed BB2)
Boi Sandwich Yeah I doubt shadows die twice is Bloodborne 2. I wouldn't even want a Bloodborne 2 tbh, Bloodborne ended up being so good because From tried something new.
Tbh I haven’t heard a ton of criticism towards bloodborne apart from that it’s only on PS4. DS2 gets by far the most shit (very rightfully so imo).
AntonyJr presumably bloodborne 2 will be coming out but it’s called “Shadows Die Twice
To this day no game has ever made me feel so amazed yet so invested than when I made my way up to the upper cathedral. Easily one of my favourite gaming moments and why it would be number one for me.
amazing video as always
I don't understand why everyone keeps liking Cainhurst so much. It's so different from the rest of Bloodborne, it's barely Bloodborne at all. It's my least favorite area by far. If I wanted castles, I'd go play one of the Dark Souls.
Oh well, to each their own, I guess.
I can't be the only person that hated Cainhurst Castle, right?
I didnt hate it, I just disliked it a lot.
At the risk of sounding like a hipster, I found Cainhurst a bit overrated. There's nothing all that great about it.
Fishing Hamlet on the other hand is a superb area
ok
so
Cainhurst has A lot of lore
it has some of the coolest looking weapons in the game hidden their
it has uniqe enemys that are fun to fight (IMO)
and it's also a beutifle looking area
but that's just my reasons as to why i like it
Though i'm probably one of the few people who think the fishing hamlet can go fuck it's self
Why? What's not to like about it.
Samer Samara
If your talking to me And why i dislike the fishing hamlet?
Simple while it has some excelent lore Some amazing items
Their is one thing that kills the entier area for me
the enemies just arn't fun to fight AT ALL
If your talking to the orignal poster sorry
Martyr Logarius is one of the sickest optional bosses in the entire Soulsborne series. I completely agree with Cainhurst Castle getting the #1 spot. On the last video i wanted the Fishing Hamlet to be at the very bottom, but I also agree with its place on the list. You get Simon's Bowblade, awesome weapon gems, a blood rock, the Rakuyo, KOS parasite, and Accursed Brew arcane attack if you defeat Orphan of Kos. So many goodies in that area alone.
Hey Demod. I love your videos. The way you describe why things are ranked the way they are is impressive. And how you beat every boss solo i can't even fathom.
Thanks so much Loueasy! The Bloodsouls games in general are all a matter of practice. It takes repetition to git gud!
+theDeModcracy i was wondering if you'd want to play sometime
No love for upper cathedral ward ? WTF fans, best area in the game after fishing hamlet :/
what the fuck is wrong with you?
No Stream, but I'll take a video.
P.S. Love you DeMod
P.S.S. Adopt me Daddy
lol luvubby
I just subscribed the other day because of part 1 of this. Can't wait to see the rest of your content (:
Thanks for the support and welcome Maxificent! :)
+theDeModcracy I don't like upper cathedral just because of the brain suckers I don't know a good strategy for finding insight but I want to fight the blue goobers
aaaaaaaay SUB HYPE oh wAIT this isn't Twitch
+theDeModcracy I want to beat the game before I buy the dlc I having lots of trouble with the giant spider gauntlet and the silver sword great sword guy and his trolling but I do look forward to mergos loft
Mergos Loft is great. Fantastic shortcuts and it's not too long, I personally got through it to the boss pretty quickly. Also don't worry about getting the dlc, i got the Game of the Year edition of Bloodborne which comes with the dlc, it doesn't get in the way because the way you access it is very specific, kinda like how you access Cainhurst.
On my first playthrough I completely missed Cainhurst, Upper Cathedral, Old workshop, moon presence, and plenty of other shit. And it was still in my top 3 all time games. When I found all that stuff my 2nd playthrough my damn jaw was on the floor. Such a masterpiece.
#dicksoutforharambe
Stay classy DeModcracy, your lists rock! How about a boss soundtrack list? :P
One time me and my friend were thinking of PVP strategies, and I was able to roll past him when he came out the entrance in old yarnham. It got to the point where I could even backstab him.
Another great video keep up the good work.
Thank you Liam!
I really wish they would've done another DLC with something to do with Cainhurst. It was fantastic and I think they could've done more with the gothica snow castle thing
Yes!! I love Castle Cainhurst as well and I though I was the only one. I was under leveled when I first got there (like level 25 or something) and it kicked my ass. But it was so beautiful and Martyr Logarius is one of my favorite bosses.
I think the thing about the Research Hall that people enjoy is that it takes some of the best level design elements, and changes the basic system of it. It is to the average Souls map as Super Mario 2 is to the rest it's series; that is to say that it takes a similar formula that generally works horizontally and makes it work vertically.
I love Cainhurst Castle, everything about it.
Your videos are amazing, keep up the good work
Thanks so much Ash!
The hunter's nightmare is my favorite, it has a great atmosphere, the old hunters are amazing enemies that aren't as bad as the hunter NPC's in game but still have a bite, and has the best beast boss in the game. So for me this area is perfect👌
I was so proud when I discovered Cainhurst on my first playthrough, lol.
I am agree with that list
Fishing hamlet is definitely my favorite area followed closely by upper cathedral ward and then cainhurst castle along with hemwick. But hell I love the whole game
around Christmas im probs gonna get a PS4 just for bloodborne. and you persuaded me to do so demod
Yay! upload on my birthday! luv ur vids!
Happy Birthday Xyranot!
theDeModcracy Thx! And thanks for replying as well
Happy birthday
Another great countdown by my favourite Demondarkborne CZcamsr
Thanks for the high praise my friend!
Bloodborne dlc was absolutely amazing if you played it after playing the whole main game on playthrough one then hit the dlc during ng+. The dream is my favorite because it let me build up my favorite weapons, pick my favorite farming spots and then, mess around the chalice dungeons which I absoluteloved
I missed you democracy, was waiting for it forever, thank you!
Missed you all too. There's a lot more videos coming soon
deModcracy-senpai never disappoints
Well demod, if there was a vote for best 3 youtubers, you would be on my top spot. Keep up the amazing content
Cainhurst was my favorite too. Loved the lore of the vilebloods.
Your videos always cheer me up man, especially after losing my son. Thanks brightening up my day a bit.
Not surprised at all that Cainhurst Castle won. First time I entered that area I got chills, and then I got Simon Belmont's theme from Super Castlevania IV stuck in my head.
Absolutely amazing video! Keep up the great content man 😊❤
Thanks Frozen
No problem! Also I'm playing through Demon's Souls now so maybe I'll get to participate in the survey as soon as possible! :)
The cathedral ward is kinda creepy with high insight where u see the that amygdala looking thing hanging at the cathedral
hey Demod, i wanted to ask if there was anyway to watch your first ever play through of bloodborn?
Research Hall, Central Yharnam, Upper Cathedral Ward and Fishing Hamlet are my personal favs, but yea Cainhurst is pretty awesome too.
I accidentally ended up in Castle Cainhurst when I was farming after Hemwick witch since those executioner guys give a lot of echoes and are easy to visceral.
Watching this makes me want to play through Bloodborne again.
Demodcracy, where can we find these surveys? And are you currently doing one for the best dark souls 3 areas?
Fishing Hamlet is my favorite, also helps hat Kos is my favorite boss and that his boss arena is one of the best.
I love you DeMod you always make my day :P
Fishing Hamlet is so amazing! My favourite area is Cainhurst, but I think Hamet is right behind.
Will you do rankings on the rest of the souls series?
