- Here's 10 Mountain bike skills and tricks you should learn! Me and Lewi Pilgrim show you how to do a range of different skills and tricks which will increase the fun you have on your bike!
There are so many skills videos out there but me and Lewi thought we'd add to that with these 10 skills and tricks because when it comes to mountain biking you can never stop learning and the more you know the better you'll be! We start things off with a wheelie and then move on to more technical maneuvers all explained as best as possible! All of these skills are aimed at intermediate mountain bikers and if you learn them you will be super stoked at life! Lewi was on the Haibike electric bike and I was on my Haibike enduro bike just to show you that these skills can be used on any bike!

Great tutorials Sam and Lewi! I just switched from BMX to MTB and I can say I really appreciate the slow-mo on jumping and 180/fakies. The extra weight of a MTB is really throwing off my balance and muscle memory from my BMX days.
It sthe suspension that got me. Bunny hopping with travel feels off even now haha.

FYI it is also a FUNdaMENTAL skill for if you if you want to jump to manual or just do a manual straight after you jump.
At my local pump track is where I started learning and it sped up my skills so quickly just by trying to be as good as the bigger lads , my record is 15 laps of just pumping (just under 30secs a lap)
