When I was young (5-6) the was that one night that I didn’t feel that tired and children shows were close at 6pm and open 4am, so I flick throw so channel and then I stop, it was a TV show. TV show were they would talk and explain the video-games, they talk about storyline, mechanics and setting, the best about this show was Gaming Tournaments, not only that but that was the day when I fell in love with video-games, the show was really late so sometime I wouldn’t sleep just to watch it and till that day I loved and still love video-games. Im playing Mafia 3 definitive that i Bought in bundle, and Its not that bad after all. They tweaked some game mechanics and its fun. These DLCs made game for me.
Mafia 3's protaganist might be a poltergeist or a psychic, which would explain the ex-CIA operative that only he talks with and all those animation glitches.

Every console game has glitches. Most of the best ones are remembered fondly for them. This whole 'properly working game on console' thing is nonsense. Never happened.
Small bugs in games are acceptable, since people makes mistakes. But before the game patching time began, developers had to make an almost perfect game, so they didn't have to recall everything, if it's unplayable. Today the developers see the release date as a totally acceptable time to release a half finished game, and patch it over the next one or two months, and people seem to forget about all the launch problems. Many of the games AVGN say are unplayable are mostly from small publishers or unlicensed. The bigger games he plays, are not unplayable because of bugs, but mostly because of bad game design. I surely don't remember any big games in the 90's where you bought something filled with gamebreaking features, and back then findings bugs in games, were mostly something fun to do, and show your friends, because they were really rare.
I'm tired of the way developers treat us today, we are like a huge group of betatesters who pay to do it, instead of getting paid. All the designers has to do, is searching on the internet, and they have a full and detailed bug report.

Bethesda secretly made Mafia 3. It was Todd Howard's passion project so he didn't slap the Besthesda name on it. He wanted to see if it could succeed on it own merits similar to how Stephen King's son goes by Joe Hill.
Some of these bugs are still in the 'Definitive Edition'. I'm playing it now and I've had the game crash twice in 3 separate playthroughs (Xbox One S).
yeah the xbox version was the most garbage. really bad resolution missing some effects that at least make it more graphically pleasing. I used to play xbox and I now play mafia 3 with a reshade mod on pc and I gotta say that everything is working good without crashes or any serious bugs. I'm only playing it because there was a good sale and I never got far on xbox[not to mention the save bug that plagued xbox primarily it took them over a year to fix that one, imagine playing the game for 3 hours and getting burke and vito and cassandra then you either restart the game or die and it brings you back to driving the reserve truck].
Yeah I was playing definitive edition. The environments looked incredible, but up close I thought the textures were terrible along with an obscene amount of pop-in. And oh my god the NPC faces are nightmare fuel.
They probably know of the problems and just treated them as known shippables. Because why worry about releasing a game in a good, playable state, when you can just patch it a few months later.

Every console game has glitches. Most of the best ones are remembered fondly for them. This whole 'properly working game on console' thing is nonsense. Never happened.
Small bugs in games are acceptable, since people makes mistakes. But before the game patching time began, developers had to make an almost perfect game, so they didn't have to recall everything, if it's unplayable. Today the developers see the release date as a totally acceptable time to release a half finished game, and patch it over the next one or two months, and people seem to forget about all the launch problems. Many of the games AVGN say are unplayable are mostly from small publishers or unlicensed. The bigger games he plays, are not unplayable because of bugs, but mostly because of bad game design. I surely don't remember any big games in the 90's where you bought something filled with gamebreaking features, and back then findings bugs in games, were mostly something fun to do, and show your friends, because they were really rare.
I'm tired of the way developers treat us today, we are like a huge group of betatesters who pay to do it, instead of getting paid. All the designers has to do, is searching on the internet, and they have a full and detailed bug report.

Some of these bugs are still in the 'Definitive Edition'. I'm playing it now and I've had the game crash twice in 3 separate playthroughs (Xbox One S).
yeah the xbox version was the most garbage. really bad resolution missing some effects that at least make it more graphically pleasing. I used to play xbox and I now play mafia 3 with a reshade mod on pc and I gotta say that everything is working good without crashes or any serious bugs. I'm only playing it because there was a good sale and I never got far on xbox[not to mention the save bug that plagued xbox primarily it took them over a year to fix that one, imagine playing the game for 3 hours and getting burke and vito and cassandra then you either restart the game or die and it brings you back to driving the reserve truck].
I played it on Xbox, and while I enjoyed it, it’s possibly one of the worst looking triple A current gen games I’ve played.

Yeah I was playing definitive edition. The environments looked incredible, but up close I thought the textures were terrible along with an obscene amount of pop-in. And oh my god the NPC faces are nightmare fuel.
