I just ordered the general with ride command it’s what they had on order and now I’m glad I did thanks for your video like to hear the radio? Thumbs up!
I have new Pro R and I installed Rugged radio and intercom but it won’t pair to intercom. Any idea how to do that. I’m hearing Ride Commamnd won’t pair to Rugged anymore !
The Ultimate trim package will come with two speakers in front, tweeters and two rear speakers. The subwoofer is an add on accessory that adds a lot of bass to the system and is a great option.
I'm sure you've probably figured this out by now, but almost nothing worked as far as GPS/ride tracking/syncing on my 2023 Turbo R. The software version on it was from 2020. The latest as of this post from Polaris' website is 11/22 which I downloaded to a usb flash drive and updated my Ride Command... Everything started working as expected after the update.
If I change the steering wheel can I still select the sports mode threw the dash ? Is it the same for the slingshot I know it offers slingshot mode but I plan on changing the steering wheel and still would like to change modes? Thanks
if im lost in the woods. i want to bring up a location and say go! from being lost to a waypoint. than show me how to get there or the closest trail to get me out of being lost!
I agree, its not there yet though. But it is way better than a paper map. On the snowmobile ride command you can set a way point and it will show you an arrow to follow.
The GPS in these units is nearly worthless. if you set a waypoint. You cant navigate to it. You bring it up on the screen and then you have to find your way there lol. Try doing that when its 10 miles away and your trails make lots of turns. Trails arent marked. Its torture and borderline useless.
They are not designed to work like a gps in a car because trails often change. But they are very useful when navigating in areas with no cell service, the Ride Command will always show the trails near you. The closest you can get to a turn by turn gps is using the Ride Command account on your computer to map out your ride and sync it to your Polaris. In the end its a lot easier than using only paper maps.
Look on the online forums I have found a few different ways to reset the Ride Command screens manually. If its under warranty there's no need to stress get it to the dealership and get it repaired.
It does not need cell service it is linked between the Ride Commands they act as a tether to each other, that's why there is a limit on their distance.
@@AplusPowerSports I did a search about that and tracking feature it´s very limited, like half a mile or so in the woods... a crappy and useless feature

2022 Polaris General XP. Can a GoPro camera be connected to ride command?
I have not connected one before but yes a GoPro can be linked to your off road Ride Command.
POLARIS RZR XP 1000 EPS BLACK PEARL T1B - 2022
do you do this too?
Yes the Ride Commands are the same across all models on off road.
Hey bud, trying to connect my ride command with my phone but it keeps saying no gps location from vehicle? Any clue with that?
If you're still having issues you could call the dealership and ask for me. I can try to troubleshoot with you over the phone.

Yes you have full operation of the modes on the touch screen. I am not familiar with the operations on the Slingshot Ridecommand.

How do you plan a trip in the ride command?
Here is my video on planning a ride then getting it to your Ride Command in the vehicle. czcams.com/video/P7pf7-PX7Es/video.html
how do you ad trails ?
The trails are downloaded from the Ride Command website to update your software. The trails are automatically populated from Polaris.

How the Group Ride tracking works without 3G or 4G?
It does not need cell service it is linked between the Ride Commands they act as a tether to each other, that's why there is a limit on their distance.
