Christopher Reeve will always be the best Bronze Age Superman.
It’s a shame that WB didn’t consult the family regarding the “digital cameo” in The Flash.
And considering Chris’ kids have made their strides to shine a light on his other selected works? It’s nice seeing them able to participate in the Superman films honestly. It’s a great tip of the hat to Christopher and it really shows you that James heart is really fully behind this picture (just like with his other works like Guardians, The Suicide Squad and Peacemaker).
I’ve been looking forward to this since it was announced, and my hype honestly just keeps mounting. I look forward to seeing the big screen return of the Big Blue Boyscout
Then Marvel having Stan Lee in EVERY movie was a "gimmick." Nah I think it's amazing and heart warming that these comic book movies want to honor these legacies.
Will Reeve looks naturally more like Superman than his dad
He has the naturally dark hair and bigger build whereas Christopher dyed his hair black or wore wigs
I would love for them to have Will Reeve as a variant Superman when they do their big multiverse crossover

I think it’s a great addition, having a way to truly respect and cater to the roots of the big screen Superman by having the son of the OG Superman in there seems like a noble thing to do, while it’ll probably just be a quick cameo it’ll mean a lot for the legacy of the franchise
He could be the Superman cameo equivalent to Stan Lee showing up in Marvel movies. Have him pop up to honor his father, the first of the big screen Superman movies.

Will Reeve looks more like Superman than anyone who has actually played Superman.
It's tradition for actors with previous connections to the character to cameo in Superman tv and movies. This is an inspired choice. I wonder if it will be the only one.

Not at all. With shows like The Boys, Invincible (which I enjoy) and James Gunn’s own Brightburn a few years back: I’m honestly very tired of Evil Superman. Part of my burnout was also the Snyder films.
I’m looking forward to this as a love letter to the Chris Reeve films and Superman of old; the Big Blue Boy Scout who fights for Truth, Justice and the American way for ALL. Not a cynical pessimist, but a good humble guy from Smallville who’s got heart & even with all his power, isn’t perfect. But always fights the good fight.
