- I had the privilege of escorting my oldest Granddaughter, Isabelle, to Colombo Sri Lanka, where she will be residing and volunteering with a great church there for the next 6-8 months. I thought you'd find it interesting to come along and enjoy highlights from our trip. After getting her settled on then went on for meetings in Singapore and a day in Hong Kong. I will show you highlights from that part of the trip at a later date in March. ENJOY!

Oh my. Chinese New Year while you are safely escorting Beautiful Belle to her new mission in starting in Singapore and landing in Sri Lanka, Columbia area!I can’t believe Belle has grown up so fast. Protective Papa making sure he shows his granddaughter around to all the sites and great food. My heart is just melting. Thumbs up! So thankful for safe travels and Belle getting to start her mission. So great to have friends in small places! Thank you also to her host family! The hosts pastor has such a beautiful family! Belle is in safe hands!

Hi Papa, I wonder if you would consider not playing music when you are talking. I am hearing impaired and have great difficulty hearing what you are saying when the music is loud and playing while you're talking. Certainly you should do what you prefer with your channel but I do love your videos and would greatly love being able to hear everything you're saying.

It's great Belle has support. I left the country (United States) and moved to the other side of the world by myself. It was my first time leaving the country. I lived overseas for 2 and a half years. That was 7 years ago. I'm glad I made that decision. I'm back in the US now. I wouldn't change anything!

That's so lovely how you were able to accompany Belle to Sri Lanka via Singapore. Oh my goodness though. I lived in Singapore until I was about 7 (still have family out there) and Orchard Road was very familiar. I hope you got to revisit some delicious hawker stall food while you were out there and got some laksa for Sarah!
I did take her to a couple of my favorite hawker stands - - - didn't get to do laksa (although I brought home some laksa paste packets to make some here) I did introduce her to Chindol One of my favorite things in Singapore

Awww so sweet, it is clear you were emotional on the last day but Belle will be okay, she is a very mature and confident woman and no doubt already is fitting in to Sri Lankan life
My opinion Changi is the best airport in the world, it`s a holiday destination all in one, and thank you Isobelle`s poppa for escorting her to her new temporary home, im sure she felt much more relaxed . and happy for that. God bless.

I came as a missionary to the US when i was 21 and never left. I am SO glad my parents let me go (they were pastors for 52 years)! Now having 3 boys i can actually feel the cost of my parents YES to God. I think its such a blessing you were able to take her!!! Best grandpa ever!!!!!
