On the first pull he had gear box on ‘D’ which means that would only gear down in 2nd gear. On the second pull he started with ‘D’ but on the end he shifted down manually to 1st for a successful full pull.
Or you can go to the Tank Biathlon... Where you race the tanks, have to shoot targets, load it quickly and drive it precisely! That is a team sport that would test any tank.
@@Sn9k you do realize teh RPG-7 would barely scratch any battle-tank right? The RPG-7 was designed and is beeing used as weapon against 'lightly armored vehicles' or with HE grenades as anti-infantry or as makeshift anti-air for low-flying aircraft.
the only way I can see an RPG damaging a crew in the tank is when you fire it into the crew hatch while being directly on top of it, but that's impossible cuz usually some infantries will surround the tank preventing you to do this, and the tank itself also have machine guns

Agree, totally. But it seems to me that most people don't understand that a successful pull is all about dead weight and traction, rather than horsepower. I've hooked my hundred horsepower backhoe to some four hundred horsepower trucks a few times on a bet who could pull who backwards. I won every time because it has the dead weight, seven tons, and right kind of tires to get the traction necessary to drag six thousand pound pickup trucks with the brakes locked down tight. No contest, seven tons and a super low first gear, the governor barely opens up the engine dragging a three ton dead weight. Farmers can play this kind of game free, since we already have the tractor or backhoe and the truck comes to us. But nobody shows up anymore to bet me a bottle of good bourbon on the result, lol.

The leo has made an evolution with all the upgrades, the armata will do the same, wish coming experience. And yes, the leo is a bit outdated and we are waiting for version 3.
Leopard 2 can reach a torque of 4700Nm at 1600min-1 and Abrams can reach 6000Nm at 30% of its turbines rated speed of 22.500min-1. That drops to 5000Nm at maximum rpm. But that suggests, that the Abrams might be better. It depends on the transmission in the end.
