    What I love about the videos of that time is the production. Girls & women dressed to suit the song and nobody looked at their individual parts, it was all in the song and the performance, real classy and it made you enjoy it!

    I'm an American. Never heard of these guys. They're fun. I can tell they are very rooted in British rock. I hear a little Mott the Hoople in the piano intro, David Bowie in the lead vocals, Sweet in their chorus vocals and the Kinks in their general, all around, fun energy.

      You may have heard of a US number one in the early Eighties called 'MIckey' by an American singer Toni Basil. This group Racey did the original version called 'Kitty'. It was re worked for Toni Basil.

      They’re miming, yeah. But wireless guitars have been around since the mid 70s. They’re basically just like wireless radio mics but designed with a bigger jack and amp for guitars. Angus Young of AC/DC has been using them since about 1980!

    During the 70's (and for some time after), I was a DJ, and we were pleased to have records such as this to play. I was paid to play music for people to dance to, not to be a jukebox. Crowds used to go out to enjoy themselves. Absolutely no point in playing so called 'serious music' (whatever that means). Prog Rock at a wedding, for example, certainly wouldn't have been popular.
    I must have been doing something right, as I never needed to advertise for work.

    This music, met my girl in 1978 me 16, her 17, married 43 years now❤. Our 2 sons and my beautiful daughter have given us the joy of 5 grandchildren (so far)😅
