The Bodhi Leaf instrument features Tasmanian Myrtle on itʻs back and sides which is hardwood native to the temperate rainforests of Tasmania. Along with that, the master grade curly Port Orford Cedar on the front with the bodhi leaves are a representation of inner peace.

Beautiful showcase, stunning Port Oxford Cedar, don’t think I have ever seen anything as curly on an instrument. Sounds gorgeous. Have a great week.

The sound is very live. Beautiful, both to see and hear. I’m guessing Kailua sand for the dots and all?

Beautiful! And what a bright sound for a Kanile'a. I'm thinking sand as well for the dots and logo.

It is quite bright. The volume is hard to bring across the computer.

Any chance that we can get a Kanile’a business update? I’ve been very confused this year. We see these stunning $10k plus models that we all love but few can afford. Then there are the amazing new models that were introduced earlier this year but they mostly seem to be build on order. USA ukulele retailers seem to have only old models. I love my Kanile’a ukuleles and love the company. Just trying to understand how I should think about future Kanile’a purchases. Thanks

Seems like the vote is unanimous. The fret markets and logo sure look like sand to me as well.
