I think verdasco always hits some of the biggest forehands you ever see in every match against nadal...😁

Psychological skills are what separated him from GS and #1. The rest is pure talent and power. By the way, he has asthma and couldn't medicate himself for that as it would have been considered doping. I'm sure that made him shorten his points strategically, which is a huge handicap.

    • @Azr721

I didn't know about his asthma. I know that he suffers from ADHD and also he can't get medicated for it. It also what makes him psychologically weak. He has anger issues and loses focus that's why he lacks consistency. Very unfortunate he has so much potential

Delpo hits it harder on a more consistent basis, but when Verdasco unleashes his powerful forehands, his are absolutely massive, on par with Gonzalez and Delpo, even on top sometimes.
It is a similar case with Wawrinka and Gasquet with their backhands. Gasquet hits his backhands with less pace compared to Wawrinka's, but we have seen Gasquet unleashing backhands over 100+ mph. Both Verdasco and Gasquet can hit the ball super hard on their respective wings, they choose not to.
