Hey there’s no videos on CZcams of the Apollo thunder 250 top speed run there’s videos of the DB36 250 top speed run but can you guys do one on that? I’m so curious because I want to buy one
@@holiday17 might I ask how did it blow up? Reason Im asking is I’m thinking of getting one and I currently have an Apollo RFZ 140 and it’s piston rings are gone so it smokes like a chimney and it’s annoying I was thinking of getting a $600 racing 150 for it or just saving up $2100 for the thunder and I don’t want to get the thunder if it’s gonna blow up like my 140 is doing lol
The thing about the Chinese bikes don’t matter if it’s a 125 140 150 or 250 there all low compression air cooled engines so they don’t make much hp compared to name brand high compression race bikes so a good comparison would be a Apollo 250 vs a Honda crf 250f a aircooled low compression crf 250
I mean a 2024 TTR 230 makes 17 hp. The Apollo is a 223cc engine iirc and makes 16 hp. 🤷♂️ Not much different. You can buy a KLR 250 from like 1991 and it makes 30 hp, but it's water cooled. Pretty much all the 225-250cc 4 stroke air cooled Jap bikes make 15-18 hp
putt yz85 in race next time. Apollo aint bad, dont get me wrong, but its still chinese bike . i did make couple hundred miles on mine, at least maintenance is cheaper than full size 450 ;)
@@asukaathecorgi4100 I agree with that but I'm just saying if you want more power more speed they're getting your money's worth. With the more high-end bikes
Biggest thing is you’re outside with friends having fun fuck the name of the bike you’re riding and that’s what it’s all about 🤙🏽
Somebody finally understands! Thanks for the comment brother 🙏
hell yeah Brotha! I don't care what anyone rides ... well as long as it aint a Kawasaki! LOL .. j/k
Apollo bikes are great inexpensive and easy to maintain. They are developed in France and yes they are assembled in china just like many other brands.
I snagged mine for about 1500 bucks, I love mine man!
Will be getting the same 250 soon, nice put her in the game my boy, have a good one.
same, just ordered the xpro 250

Put that 250 against a ttr230 that would be a real comparison
We were going off the price of the bikes, but we’ll get around to it in the future!
I think a Apollo 250 vs a crf250f that’s aircooled and not a high compression engine that the 250r has
How does it wheelie can it come up just on throttle or do u have to clutch it up?
Gas it and lean back and it pops right up 💪
The 250 wheelies with a slight flick of the wrist does it great

Unfortunately the Apollo blew up and I put a new motor from Suzuki Into it, it makes about the same horsepower so I might do a run for you
@@holiday17 yeah but it’s probably different gearing right but still would be a good vid

It's not even close my rfz110 runs the same speed as that Yamaha 125 😂
I own both Chinese and Japanese KTM. Not even close the cc may be the same horsepower is way less on the Chinese bike

That Apollo 250 only pushing like 16 horsepower LOL compared to a YZ250 that's pushing like 40 horsepower
look at the price difference tho

Yz is 2 stroke…..you can’t compare it to a 4 stroke.
@@Dan-qv2tb well that's an obvious thing. A Chinese bike doesn't even push out a quarter of the horsepower anyways
