Nice bike, China quality keeps getting better and better, Great review
These kind of bikes are for regular people who like to ride in trails and do some hills. Or keep up with some riding buddies in the woods. These kind of dirtbikes are not for motorcross racing or hitting large jumps. I think they are definitely a bargain for what you get versus how much they cost
Appreciate the feedack
First thing any new owner should do is bin the spark plug it comes with! Fit a good quality iridium plug, it'll start much better and idle more evenly. Second thing to do is setup your valve clearances properly (won't be correct from factory, usually too tight). Third, you will need to adjust your carb to get best performance and correct idling. The forth job should be to check your wheel spokes, normally these are a mile off and the wheel will not be running true, they will also likely not be tensioned correctly which will cause problems down the road.
Once all those little jobs are done you'll have a nice reliable bike that'll give you lots of fun and won't break the bank when it needs anything, which by all accounts isn't too often unless you treat it very badly!
i’m new to dirt bikes and imma get this one .. how do i know what size or carb or what carb to get ?
@@samitis2437 These Normally come with a Nibbi PZ-28, these are absolutely fine for this engine, no need to change carbs. You might want to buy a jetting kit for it though as they often come incorrectly jetted for the fuel/climate that it will be used in. they're cheap and easy to change, takes a bit of trial and error before you'll find the optimum setup.
@@Altair885 Wow thanks man definitely appreciate your response
@@samitis2437 No worries. Hope you enjoy your new ride!
Good job, we have been waiting for this review
This bike would make an excellent Enduro-Dual Sport Conversion.
I took this bike to the track and let me tell you I ripped on it and it does an amazing job taking jumps!! This bike is very fun at one point I see these Chinese bikes Competing in the track
This bike makes an excellent conversion.
Yeah there's a company here in the UK sells these bikes on a crate for £1695 great weekend project
Does it get a full kick or hang up on the footpeg?
Start with totally dead battery or disabled like other
chinese bikes?
Link to parts list/catalogue for all parts available for this bike?
Anyone know the difference between the RFN and RFZ? Bike was listed as being an RFZ but received one stickered with RFN and an owners manual for an AZX.
Demonstrate the kick start for us?
I would like to get graphics for it, which brand dirt bike can I use to buy them?
You can buy graphics on amazon
Front and rear wheel travel?
Rebound and compression adjust,
front and back or just a rear preload
adjustable nut?
HP?
Weight with fuel and oil, curb weight?
Truly 250cc, or 223cc?
I just ordered this bike, when It comes I'll try to make a video about specifics because I've had these same questions and info online is pretty vague and there's no real videos on it yet. It's cold where I'm at so probably won't have much riding footage but I wanna look at the adjustment on suspension like preload and rebound if it even has rebound and I'm pretty sure the rear shock is just preload adjustment. It's also advertised as a true 250cc but I'm guessing its the 223 or 229cc cb engine that's in most Chinese bikes. I'm planning on doing the 300cc big bore kit and porting the head with a larger carb anyways. Hopefully I can get some videos out about it because I know folks are curious about it.
@@anthonyyoung4978 Awesome, looking
forward to your review/vids.
I'm sure it will be a durable and
reliable machine. If you remember,
give me a heads up on this thread,
would also like your take on it
once you get it put together and
'once around the block'. I ordered
another brand, very similar.
From my research it's a 250cc Zongshen engine but let me know what you find out, Have a good one, I'm looking to get one, so I'll be tuning in on you all, do the same thanks in advance.
@@eliotellison7176 My engine is zongshen
ZSCB250D-G it's 223cc. I'm not sure
if you have the same zongshen model.
I wound up buying the Trailmaster TM31.
I think your engine will be awesome,
whether 223cc or 250. My bike's
suspension is pretty weak, wouldn't take
it to a mx track, but it is fully awesome
for single track, and tight technical stuff.
@@bikersoncall with a better shock I believe you would have a better experience with your bike those trailmasters aren't bad bikes I'm just looking into something for the road also and that can compete with Japanese bikes. I'll have it soon and keep all updated and try to make videos thanks for your response have a good one.
I have two apollos, db36 and an RFZ 125 and a Kawasaki KLX 300. And I've been riding bikes for 45 years and I just think that this review is just so poorly done that it's almost funny!
hes just trying to make sale bro, years dont matter if youre gonna be negative and not give any reason to why its a bad review
Challenge accepted 😎. First thing is he keeps saying these are competitive bikes which is absolutely ridiculous! I get he's a salesman but damn!
@@deanteasdale6252that's all u got thought nigga was supposed to b coming out hot with it 💀 just ended up looking stupid
@@chancekeller7590riding a dirt bike in a parking lot tells me nothing about a dirt bike, is there compression and rebound adjustment on the rear shock or just preload? and what is the adjustment on the forks? I'm sure he didn't say anything about these because he has no clue what they are
สั่งซี้อได้ที่ไหนคับ
Do you have any 250 dirt bikes in stock?
Yes, there is an Apollo Thunder 250 at local Reno Nevada store ready to ride color blue
what type of oil would you recommend for this bike
We use 10-40 quality 4 stroke motorcycle oil
I there are rfz and rfn thunders ...can u guys tell me the differences
Watch one of our most recent videos
What’s top speed of this bike ?
Many variables that effect top speed, approx 65 MPH
What is the cheapest way to buy one of these?
I live in Canada and I’m looking for a dirt bike
I had an 09 R6 and I totalled that so gonna try a smaller bike until I’m a decent rider
Call before ordering to confirm availability. We can ship to the nearest USA boarder town. You handle from there.
Why does it pop like that?
My current bike never popped at all,
not while breaking in or fully broken in.
Why is it doing that, would mine do that
too if I order one?
Yeah just got mine, it does the same thing the carb just needs re jetted. Mine almost seems too rich actually. At idle at least. Just might need smaller jets. I'm no expert is could be lean, I just got my hands on it. Nice thing is it comes with a pretty good carburator unlike the other Chinese bikes. I'm pretty sure it takes nibbi pe 28 jets. this thing is sweet for the price
Looking at getting one, check out what we both do to them Lol have a good one.
@@eliotellison7176 Will do. I have 40hrs on
my new TM31, similar to the other chinese
250's that are actually 223 cc's , I think
yours is 250cc not 223. Luckily mine
does no popping.
@@bikersoncall you got her tuned correct don't change ah thing besides blowing her out often after a few runs
@@anthonyyoung4978 just change out that stock crab for an Aftermarket 28mm and let me know how she acts then for you!!!🏁 🏎 🏇 🏁
Where in the states can we buy one 👀
As of last week, there is no longer inventory available on the Apollo Thunder 250. Check back in a few weeks. 😀
Ga has them, massage me direct if Still Looking!!! 🏁 🏎 🏇
Can you take the warning sticker off
Please elaborate

U r a salesman , what's the point to do a review
Appreciate the feedback
Ugly motor and rims, hideous.
Graphics look good though, and good
that you don't have to pull the clutch in like
some of the other super lame designs.
The best part Abt these is the design u nigga hate just to hate
Who gives a fuck what the motor looks like LMFAO and the rims are black like every other bike
What’s the recommended hight for this bike?
It depends on the ability of the rider. Beginner I recommend 5'-9" and above
How y’all are you?
