No car sounds better in the cab than these Merc GT3s. The deep sound of that giant V8 sucking air combined with the high pitched gear whine behind it is the best. This is one of the best helmet cam setups I have ever seen, and an ace driver as well. Then finishes it with a Porsche rev limiter burnout racking off the paddocks. Thanks for posting.

@@liviu543 He's talking about ACC (Assetto Corsa Competizione). It doesn't need sound mods as it's pretty much perfect.
The normal Assetto Corsa needed sound mods though.

Lovely setup, insane(/ly) hot(/-)laps - the wider FOV (field of view), conpared to what i see from others, makes you much more easily feel the rotation and as a result understand the intentions and consequences of the driver's actions in space and time. Inspiring! Don't try this at home.

TC 8 on dry conditions ? You must be preserving tires or my sim (acc) allows running with insanely low TC with the AMG
Hi! So TC in real works inverted on the AMG. The higher you go the less intrusion!

Hi there! How would you compare your real driving experience in the simulator Assetto Corsa Competizione?
Hi Luis, so I can tell you the cars come across and are actually quite similar. Tire model is always the most difficult to recreate but the behaviour of the chassis is most definitely quite similar! Keeping in mind you have one sense less when driving in the sim (your butt)

Woah, the steering is just over 360 degree lock to lock. Clearly the steering ratio is faster than the street car, but I wonder if it loses some angle too?

I couldnt find anything about this in the comments but, what are those small holes in the middle of the windshield? It looks like random small circles, just curious to what it is haha also this is insanely cool footage and ty for providing it for us!
The small bubbles in the windshield are air pockets/dirt trapped under the plastic tear off. Similar to what F1 drivers have on their visor. We have a 7 layer thick plastic covering on the window to protect from debris and rocks ;)

What real advantages will that thing have
A heads up display wouldn’t help us much, as drivers we rarely look at the dash unlike on the street where you need your speed or navigation etc

I think I'd rather have a round steering wheel in case it pulled out of your hands you could grab it back quickly that square thing with two hand grips looks dangerous.
You get used to it, you don’t need a full steering wheel :-)

@@DaanArrow I have "tried" on a utmost professional level in European Formula Ford championship. Means only on pure mechanical analog race cars. Todays digital drivers generation would not know how to operate These cars in race speed...
