    Get yours now and experience the QuickDraw difference: rb.gy/t4qqru
    This ultralight squeeze water filter is engineered for adventurers who demand exceptional performance without the extra weight or hassle of traditional pump systems. Its innovative design makes filling up, filtering, and breaking down a breeze, meaning you’ll spend less time squatting next to a stream filtering and more time exploring. Its fast-flowing hollow fiber technology filters at 3 liters per minute to keep you hydrated and energized throughout your trips. Many filters start fast but clog up quickly, not the QuickDraw. With two possible cleaning methods-shake-to-clean and backflushing-the filter’s speed will last throughout your trips and won’t bog you down. The included QuickDraw 1L dirty reservoir is built with Platy’s proprietary tri-layer film construction (the same as our award-winning hydration reservoirs) to make it incredibly durable and guaranteed free of any plastic taste. Its fill-handle and wide-mouth opening means your hands stay dry while you easily fill up at the water source. Want to use a different bottle or reservoir? The QuickDraw's versatility shines as it natively attaches to various vessel types-including smartwater® bottles-on both the clean and dirty side, making it an ideal choice for backpackers who value adaptability and simplicity in their gear.
    Water safety is Platy’s bottom line. Head into the backcountry with peace of mind knowing the QuickDraw removes 99.9999% of bacteria and 99.9% of protozoa per all EPA and NSF guidelines. The backcountry is a rugged place and accidents happen. If your QuickDraw is dropped, impacted or potentially frozen, find out if the hollow fibers are intact and are still safely filtering water with the Integrity Check process you can easily perform in the field.
    Pack a QuickDraw 1L Filter System and experience better water filtering on all your outdoor adventures. This ultralight water filter is not just another compact squeeze filter; we've taken care of the complexities, engineering all the little details so you get simple, fast and reliable performance, every time out. With the added benefit of allowing you to fine tune and customize your system, no other water filter matches the performance and value of the QuickDraw. Whether you're a seasoned backpacker or a beginner getting your feet wet in the wonders of nature, the QuickDraw 1L Filter System is the perfect water filter for your kit. No successful trip happens without clean water, adventure right with QuickDraw.

    Are there any 28mm adapters/couplers to pair attach the quickdraw filter to a smartwater or similar bottle? (threading it on rather than just loosely sitting it on top)

    • @Platyhydration
      @Platyhydration  Před 2 lety

      Hi Neil,
      The threading fits a Smartwater bottle without needing an additional adapter. It threads directly atop the bottle.

    My brand new filter is doing about 20ml/minute. I bought it right before going on my trip and didn't have time to test it. Luckily my friend had extra purification tablets. Pretty disappointed. Hopefully I can get a refund :(

      From your comment it feels like you're using these as a gravity filter? If so then it's not intended for that, you need to push the bag and water through it.

      yes, we too barely got a trickle and this was on day 1 of our backpack trip. Were we to have “primed” it at home before first time use in the field? Nothing on box indicated we needed to do so. Eventually we got it to work as a gravity drip; we attached a cord to a CNOC 3L bag, inverted it and the Quick Draw filled our 900 mL cook pot, but it was painstakingly slow, like a drip per second. We did other camp chores while waiting. Day 2, it worked better but we did NOT get the 3L a minute flow as advertised, but def better than the prior day’s super slow drip. I’ve written to Platy via Cascade Designs.

    These things get nowhere near 1 litre in 20 seconds, the best I've got from my brand new filter after a 24 hour soak is a litre in 1 minute 30 seconds and that look a lot of physical effort.
