Honest opinion: If you are going to make designs for trends that have more than a 1000 products in them already, tag spamming is unfortunately almost a necessity. I wanted to try it out myself and a few of my most successful designs only sold because I was on page 1 through tag spamming. This is really sad and needs to be changed, but almost noone is getting banned for this since the tags "fit the product" and are "not unrelated". If you do evergreens, tag spamming is not needed, but I really love your idea and your thoughtful video and I am definitely going to implement something similar and try that out against tag spamming, because I really hate that I did it... (Worse, it worked!)

I read someone on reddit they grown their sales by writting very long seo descriptions. I use for research SEO keyword service Ubersuggest. It helps a much not to be blind in finding niches. I can't even imagine, what results you will achieve using such kind of services :))
This is amazing advice and thank you so much for the template as I had no idea how to do it correctly, my only note as a UK POD newbie is diffrent places have diffrent trade mark rules and so if you sell to all the places on redbubble you have to check your quote against every diffrent country's trademark. (I know its not fun to say but I have known other to have their account shit down for a quote that was not trademarked in the UK but was in America

For instance all of Disney characters are copywrite by default in every country in the world but for instance the character Elsa although her design/drawing is copyrighted, it is up to the company/owner to decide if this needs to be trademarked. Meaning you can't copy the style or story of elsa, and by law cannot sell anything with her picture altered or not. It's also up to them if they want to trademark the phrase "Let it go". "Let it Go" isn't automatically given a copywrite as it's not a piece of art due to this you could use this phrase to your hearts content to sell books or t-shirts. But Disney has trademarked it so it becomes slightly harder for people to use this phrase on books/t-shirt ect, Disney pays money for this service and its a service based upon each country. Copywrite is recognised all over the globe no matter what, until I believe its 70 years passing then it's classified public domain. But trademarking is a service you pay for and stands until not payed, every country has their own rules for trademark so when looking online you need to check multiple country's you can find a trademark in one country and find no trademark in the next, meaning your able to use whatever is was you searched and sell it in that country with no issues (unless it's copyrighted) I'm not great af explaining but I did my best x
This was a helpful video. It took me forever to understand what tags were and how descriptions and titles also mattered, this video expanded my knowledge more. I have heard different things about the amount of tags to use. Redbubble will allow you to use up to 50, and one video I watched said that 20 to 25 RELEVANT tags is a sweet spot (this CZcamsr said that someone from Redbubble had reached out and told her that.) I often times have difficulty thinking up just a few tags, sometimes it's easy and I can come up with 20 to 25, but I will now start using the resources you mentioned. I usually use google keywords tool to find the key word that are high in search volume and low in competition. I love your videos they're informative in a calm way and make everything easier to be understood. Best of luck
I have just like given up on redbubble. I mean I used to get few sales like every 2-3 days but I don't know since mid December, it completely stopped. I checked my google analytics, and the daily traffic has significantly dropped. I now have 1200+ designs. I have evergreen and trending designs. Yet very few traffic. So I havent focused much on redbubble :\ Now I get maybe 8-10 sales a month., which sucks. Also it might be because lots of other people are tag spamming and my designs are pushed way way back. Anyway after watching your video, I want to try your method of seo and tags. Hoping for the best. Thank you!
Hi! Thank you for sharing your experience, yes RB is currently facing major challenges beacause of the tag spammers :( My current traffic in April is low. However, mindset is important. Slow traffic could also be caused the following reasons: 1. Q1 is slow considering it was just from Q4 where most people spend the most to buy gifts for the holidays, 2. We are not making designs or our target niches are currently not in demand 3. We are not consistently uploading (this one is extremely important) I still have more months to further understand RB, and I am learning new things everyday😊

Well, I did it on one that I already sold (it was a quote of red dead redemption) and it got reported for right infringement, I added the "who loves red dead redemption" on the description but it was already in the tag and description. I hope it's a coincidence. The quote isn't trademarked, the design is not even the logo.

I've seen these kind of tips all the time, but the reason your video stood out to me is because you showed the practical examples and explained it so simply. Before, this type of work seemed so difficult to follow because there's so many things to consider and not knowing how to do it makes it even harder and demotivating. This video along with other 2 videos of yours really motivated me again for redbubble and I'll try it again. I hope it goes well.

Well, I did it on one that I already sold (it was a quote of red dead redemption) and it got reported for right infringement, I added the "who loves red dead redemption" on the description but it was already in the tag and description. I hope it's a coincidence. The quote isn't trademarked, the design is not even the logo.
