I've been on the site since 2019 and I've only had 6 sales 😭 At first I was just doing it for fun and it was easy but now I'm actually trying and it's gotten so much harder than it used to be. I've started promoting on other websites like Pinterest but no changes. I just hope things get better because I am uploading multiple designs a week and still no sales.
@@jbhann you can check the box to put watermarks on the image. However when on the buy page, a thief can blow up the image and it shows no watermarks. Then screenshot the page. But jokes on them because it will print fuzzy and crappy. Some just take an internet image and put it on a product, and that will print like crap too. So like you said there is no way to make it hard to steal. RB needs to step up their game and make better watermarks and put them on the larger image too.
joke's on them because the design will be of low quality when printed. Cheap ppl buy cheap stuff. No offense. That's why I gave up my red bubble and made my own shop, with own domain and work with printify or printful
targetting niches and sub niches with lesser results is a great advice! i also started with making designs for oversaturated niches, but slowly i added more designs from small fandoms that i like (purely out of self indulgent! the creator is okay with it too so i made a few) and to my surprise they became my best selling designs. i didnt think people would buy them at all but i was wrong lol

Great comment! I'm just getting into PoD, so trying to learn from everyone! I was just curious, when you said 'small fandoms'... How do you create items from a fandom without infringing on copywriter etc? Do you just mean you keep it general, like sayings and stuff? Thanks and good luck on your journey!
Happy to you on !!! I changed my banner last evening after watching this video! it's more me now. Love this video, real eye-opener. i knew i was doing some of these things wrong...like my niches. But i will work on it! Thank you again for another great video!!!
Thank you so much for your video Passive Marie! I've finally found why i was not getting any sales. I guess now I know what needs to be made in my shop.
Hey. New subscriber here! Discovered your channel looking for information on RedBubble. I am kind of new to PoD. I had 2 Zazzle shops in the past, but they didn't really do very well because I didn't really work on them or dedicate the effort like I should have. Plus I have found that Zazzle has pretty pricey items so I didn't continue there. Anyway, I look forward to watching more of your content, and good luck on your journey! Thanks for sharing the information!

I haven't made any sales - I make pixel stickers. - I feel like my work works best as only stickers. But I guess that has impacted my customer reach lol.
quick question: I am thinking of offering commissions for redbubble shop makeovers (ei; new banner and icon for a more cohesive look) is this a good idea? and if so what do you suggest would be the best platform to sell these commissions?
Hello Marie! Hope you are doing well. I'm a bit confused about something. What is your experience with patterns? Do they sell? Besides for what products we should design more in Q4? Thanks in advance!
Hi! I gave my answers on my previous video (3 tips to improve RB shops). Regarding Q4, it all depends what is currently selling on the platform or what is selling well on your shop, I recommend targeting unsaturated niches, especially related to the upcoming holidays or replicate what is selling on your shop and apply it to another niche :) Good luck!
@@PassiveMarie The video that you are talking about is 4 month ago. Am I right? Please one last thing. According to you experience do patterns sell well on Redbubble?
thank you for reviewing my generic shop and show in video 😄. I hope you liked it. Will update here once I get a sale ❤️ Also how long do you take to research a single niche.
Hi! I just want to ask, what if different redbubble artist uploaded exactly the same design (that came from public domain) what will happen to our account are both of them will get banned from redbubble?
The best way to avoid this is to make slight changes to it. Even if you're not a designer and using images from pixabay, resplash etc, just hop on to Adobe Illustrator or PS or vectra etc (AI alternatives which are simpler than AI) and change some colors or font size or font or rearrange images in a way that makes sense. In that way, the ones who are not changing anything and you both will be safe because there are so many quotes and/or designs people keep recreating because of the trend
how do I do in relation to creating stickers? because redbubble only accepts notices with transparent background, but the png format file does not support the CMYK standard (for printing). Can someone help me?
May someone help me to understand what's the meaning of niche? Aren't we all under the art niche? I just can't understand it's all about art and designs so... Pls help!
How can u make ur designns look good when spam taggers have buried u below lol no ones going to go to page 2 even with good tags and see thanks to tag spamming
You can use their silhouettes and number for example. Use the teams colors in the design. Avoid: logos and pictures of their face, anything copyrighted.
The quality of designs has gone right down the toilet in the last 12 months apart from serious, original designers who are most likely are adults and work hard at it.

Reason No. 5: Other people are just stealing your designs and selling them for a lower price since design one and in less than 24 hours. True story.
