@@anthonygibson660 not everybody wants to wear a helmet and be hot with it on plus the extra gear adds extra weight and extra space that does not allow convienience. I ride an electric Unicycle so it's way more mounting and getting off than a bike. More prone to something strange happening for some.

Looking at this product, my concern is that it won’t protect that part. In all the test videos I’ve watched the rider seems to sort of roll with the crash. Real life crashes are very different. The way I fell was not like any of these videos. It does look like it would protect you from potentially breaking your neck though.
Does a regular bike helmet prevent breaking the neck? Theyre meant to protect the head, not cheek bones. This device seems to have more coverage than a bike helmet.

@@edwardstroud8245 I’ve gone flying into trees and bouncing off rocks during my crashes. If you want full coverage, you have to buy a full face helmet that covers your head completely. Non full face helmets cover pore of the back and top of your head since damage to that area will cause far more damage than a cheekbone. Full faces aren’t practical however but you do see some that offer a detachable piece to turn it into a full face if needed
Great Idea, I broke my #7 Bernard after getting hit head on by a car. I was wearing a helmet but this airbag helmet may have saved me from having to wear a halo for 3 months after piecing me back together.
I think it would be even more effective if you put...let's say 50 grams of C4 in it that way the cyclist certainly does not care if it's reusable and you can be sure that it's the last accident you will ever have.
This immobilizes your neck better though. A helmet can’t immobilize your neck as you wouldn’t be able to look around while riding but this lets you do that but when you crash your neck is unable to whip backwards or to the sides which probably helps reduce the likelihood of a neck injury while riding.
. I wonder how many they'll sell. If, when they popped open, it displayed some political campaign slogan ......"Make Bicycling Great Again!".....something like that....they'd probably sell a lot.
