It's kinda crazy the difference between a Y2K piece of clothing compared to the fast fashion today. I love finding detailed unique pieces of clothes decor whatever that's been long forgotten/discarded. It's the little joys in life 🤪

The "small rugs" the worn out ones are like this because initialy were used to clean ur shoes when coming from outside, so a bunch of shoes were swiping the dirt of in the past
Omg. So many wonderful items! Impossible to choose a favorite but the $2 Free People dress is an amazing find. You could take in the waist of the autumnal skirt to fit you better. The driftwood could be turned into a necklace holder by adding gold hooks onto it and hanging it on a wall. . .

So many lovely pieces! Hard to pick a favourite. But I always enjoy your descriptions of your items. The language you use shows your joy amd connection, like describing the housecoat as "...so wholesome." I immediately understood the feeling you get when you put it on; almost comfort clothing instead of comfort food!

I love the owl spoon rest! My mom collected owls when I was a kid, so they were all over the house. She decided to get rid of all of them at some point. Kind of wish she still had them, because she had some really cool ones. I love that skirt! I got a Sag Harbor skirt that is similar to that from the thrift store a couple months ago. That little floral sculpture is super cool. Cute ornament too. That Free People dress was a total steal! Cute fox ornament. The turtleneck tank is awesome. The housecoat is super fun. Super cool pillow too! On Tuesday, I went to Salvation Army and found the most amazing, cozy, long forest green coat. It's sort of like that teddy material, but the forest green color give it a different look. There is no closure, so it's the perfect layering piece for Michigan fall, and honestly even winter. It's a little big, but I don't care. As soon as I saw it, I was in love...and then I put it on. There was no question whether it was coming home with me or not. For $6.99, it was a no brainer.

Wow I loved everything you got! For the groovy pillow, that looks like acrylic yarn from here and you can probably hand wash in cold & lay flat dry (I'd take the pillow out, & if it's cotton you can totally wash that in the washer). Hoping the colors don't bleed though! The seed pod fake plant you got is a Silver Doller Plant (aka Lunaria). For the cutie ceramic deer, you can do whatever you please, but I would leave the gold writing myself! It looks like a MCM era souvenir so that might be vintage handwriting 🤣. The driftwood might be nice mounted to a wall to hold hand towels or something. I also loved the black tank top you got! Sorry for the novel, I had a lot of thoughts lol. And my favorite personal thrift find recently was a vintage 80s Pendleton wool plaid skirt for $3!

Nice haul. I have a Woodstock chime and it is great. Just make sure you bring it in for the winter. I didn’t and ended up having to restring it..but they DO sell the string as well.
