- I don't just love making sweets...I have a massive sweet tooth and LOVE my desserts! London has so many amazing bakeries and dessert destinations and I thought you might like to see where I like to go to satisfy my cravings (when I'm not getting high on my own supply, that is!).
The C&D shop is right in the heart of London's Soho so Sally and I took some time, hit up 8 of my favourite local sweet spots and we're bringing you guys along for the ride! If there's any other places and areas you think I've just gotta try let me know in the comments box below, and as this is a bit of a change from the usual weekly recipe if you'd like more of this kind of thing be sure to let me know down there too!

I really like how Jemma isn’t afraid to promote other businesses. You see some business owners that wouldn’t even dream of mentioning another business that are in the same industry as them, but business owners such as Jemma are how all business owners should be, promoting each other for the right reasons.

Had a salted caramel cake delivered to a restaurant from CRUMBS AND DOILIES for a 21 st birthday meal. AMAZING. I have eaten a lot of cakes over the years and this has to be the best one ever.

Loved this video and really shows how confident you are about your own products to praise other bakeries. It also shows what a generous and unselfish person you are, which is also reflected in others from your shop shine in your videos. Great to see the bond between you and Sally as well. I’m from USA and more of a sun and beach girl but wanting to go to London to visit your shop and hopefully get to meet you. I started getting into baking when I started watching your videos. Bought a scale and never turned back!!

Jemma, you need to go to Japan! The sweets and pastries in Japan are a lot of time French influenced but Japanized in a very unique way, and also played out with fruits from different Seasons. I am absolutely sure that every sweet lover will enjoy the offerings in Japan, you gotta come here someday!

That looks like a good dessert tour of London, always like to look out for the bakeries. It'll be the choux pastry, pastel da nata and the gelato shops will be our first stops and crumbs and doilies of course, Thankyou for the tour.

Did not expect filipino food to be represented though I did dare to dream when I saw the purple thumbnail. And bam. Bilog. Meaning round in filipino. Nice. Looks yummy too. The flan was always my fav part of halo halo and in some places they also put some ube paste on top. Good stuff.

I’m obsessed with your channel! Loving this video; whenever I travel to London from Glasgow I visit soho so this has given me lots of ideas! I’m always telling myself that on my next visit I’m coming to Crumbs & Doilies...and at the end of the video when you guys walked in & out of the shop I realised I’ve been!!!! Can’t believe it, I remember visiting this little cupcake shop a couple of years ago, which I speak about all the time, and I could never remember the name...now I know!!!

I’m Asian and I’m so happy how open you guys are to different culture food and love how you guys appreciate the different desserts! You girls know your thing! Most of them I go to myself, you know the good places! I totally agree that the Halo Halo is a crazy combination! Thanks for introducing some new places! I recommend Amorino for genuine Gelato and Gaza (Korean shaved ice cream) you should get the classic mochi one.

Really love this video idea and seeing something a little different from you, Jemma. The content I never knew I needed. I was surprised to see that Cafe de Nata was first as its one of my favourites and I was there the other day!
Maybe I shouldn't have watch it straight after lunch as right now I'm really craving sweet but loved it! As some have said, love that Jemma just went around the area to share other really good sweet businesses. This really sets the example of how it should be done. I'm biased for being a lover of Pasteis de Nata (the classic ones) and Japanese sweets. Have to try the Kova one then next time I'm in soho
